Dr. Sandlin is Exceptional!
My 20 year old daughter had to have minor surgery on both feet/ankles. Dr. S took the time to answer questions and was very patient. BUT, what really prompted me to write this review is what happened the day my daughter returned to have the stitches removed. I had to drive her because she wasn't yet cleared to drive. Her appointment was for before 10:00 because she had a final at UW at 11:30 - this should have left plenty of time. The clinic was overly busy and we had to wait until 10:45 to be seen. We let Dr. S know we were short on time and he said he'd get someone in right away. Sadly, we were forgotten and as the time approached towards 11:30, my daughter became more panicked. I was able to flag someone down - Dr. Sandlin came back, apologized profusely, got the stitches out and wrote a letter for my daughter to take to her professor and he even offered to call the professor to explain! He took full blame but we know it was just a bad day for them. THANK YOU!

Dr. Sandlin is a very qualified and knowledgeable orthopedic doctor. His way of explaining things to the average person are extremely well-received. His compassion for his work in helping people really shows. Thank you Dr. Sandlin. Quite surprised to receive your letter that you are moving on without the firm. Please know you will be truly missed. The Lord has a New Journey for you enjoy it because we the people enjoyed you.

I highly recommend Dr. Sandlin as a surgeon for lower extremity injuries. I had a complete rupture of my Achilles tendon and he did great work on me. Dr. Sandlin preformed Percutaneous Achilles Repair Surgery (PARS) to repair my Achilles and the result has been amazing. The small incision led to quick wound healing and I have been able to have an ahead of schedule recovery timeline. He is the guy to see for this injury!
