I saw Dr. Schirripa for the first time this November for a standard annual exam. He refilled my Birth Control Pill prescription. This month (April) my prescription refill was denied. I called the office and was told that I needed to be seen every 6 months to maintain this prescription. There is absolutely no reason for that. I have been on Birth Control Pills for 15 years and no other doctor has ever required that. And, at no point in my original visit did anyone mention that I needed to plan to come back in 6 months. They are forcing women to come in for unnecessary examinations to receive standard prescriptions and it is a disgusting way to make money. I will never be back.

Went to check my IUD, he told me it as a little low and he recommended taking it out and put it back when I got my period, 2 weeks later I call for the apnt and a nurse called back telling me He didn't want to put it back in because he did not feel comfortable putting it back in in a woman my age (28) The nurse could not really explain why. I understand the dr might feel unsafe but he has to explain why and give you other options, not ask his nurse to call you 2 weeks after and no explanation.

26 weeks preg, and have been seeing him since the start of my pregnancy. Initially, I was fond of him. However, my visits became rushed and he was unable to answer basic questions. He never brought up any vaccines, which I had to ask about since every book mentioned vaccines for pregnant women, he never asked about or mentioned prenatal vitamins. Additionally and most importantly, his nurse Vera is EXTREMELY unprofessional and rude. During this exciting time every woman deserves a better doc!

Bullied me out of trying for a v bac. Gave me the worst c section ever. Completely u even and longer on one side and well above my bikini line. It is horrible! What angers me even more is that the entire pregnancy he said he was going over my original much lower and neat scar and on the day of surgery cut two inches higher and crooked. Some people actually care what their bodies look like after a baby. I am one of them. Terrible job. I'm now going to have the scar revised its so crooked.
