Made visit for annual skin check since history of pre cancerous skin issues. Never touched me. Never did body skin check that I went there for.

Been a patient for yrs always a pleasant experience

We booked an appointment with Dr. Shiman because we were looking for a pediatric dermatologist to hopefully get some answers about a lump on my sons cheek. Dr. Shiman looked at my son for a little less than a minute, and basically told us he had no idea what the lump was, and to go see an ENT.. Ok, no problem, but I am frustrated that they were quick to bill us for an appointment that lasted less than 3 minutes, and received no help.

Dr. Shiman is delightful - thorough, honest, very capable. I recommend him without any reservation!

Outstanding! Couldn't be better! I hadn't been to a dermatologist in over 10 yrs and only went bc my husband couldn't make it to his appointment and I had a "thingy" on my forehead that annoyed me. So I took my husband's app't with Dr. Shiman and he checked me over and found nothing, except the"thingy" which he removed and sent to path. Turned out to be cancer and Dr. Shiman's office got me in quickly for Mohs surgery. He explained everything well before and during. I was worried about the ability of a dermatologist to cut my forehead open without leaving an ugly scar (I'm an entertainer). It's been only 2 weeks and there is no scar at all. I think even he would be surprised. He sewed the 2 sides of my skin together without any overlapping or bumps. So, I'll be sure to return for skin cancer checkups every 6 months. His staff was always kind and respectful to not only me, but to the other patients. They speak to you directly on the phone and don't use automated phones.

Dr Shiman was very professional and extremely great at diagnosing my problem. Staff was exceptional. I would recommend him to my friends & family.

The office is very kind, friendly, and accommodating. Dr. Shiman did an excellent job of both removing a basal cell cancer from near my nose, but carefully stitching it in a way that promises to leave a minimal scar. He was gentle and concerned for my comfort. The only negative is that I do feel rushed but this seems to be a symptom of our modern medicine in the U.S.
