I've gone to Dr. Shohet for a chronic condition over the last year and he has been able to help me get through some very bad spells with safe but aggressive treatments. I appreciate that he explains everything to me in a way that I feel that I have control of a flare-up. He has a professional manner and is thorough so I don't feel that I will have to see him for long periods. Basically, I follow his instructions and I get relief.

Failed to identify a concha bullosa on the right side of my nose that I finally, after over a year, have had surgery for as of yesterday with a much better ENT. It showed up on the CT Shohet ordered, but my current ENT is the one who mentioned it to me after looking at my CT from Shohet. There was a chronic infection in my nose and he failed to identify it and instead prescribed a nasal spray I had a severe allergic reaction to and then doubted me after I reported my reaction. This doctor is rude, has a terrible bedside manner, and obviously can’t even read the CT scans he orders. He’s out of network and overcharges. He also has almost no knowledge of Mast Cell Activation Syndrome and how it affects people’s.
