Caring & Thorough Doctor
My husband and I feel very secure and cared for with Dr. Slater. We really trust him because over the years he has shown us that he truly cares about our health and is also very knowledgeable. Time and again he has offered us sound advice and different options to resolve a health concern. If I call his office and ask to speak with him directly, he will always call me back, not to mention the after hours calls my husband and I have made to him. A couple of times I had to go to the Emergency Room and he wanted me to call him afterwards to check-in, and tell me how I was doing!!! What other doctor does that these days? My 88 year old mother also goes to him and feels very safe with him. He really watches out for her. His one office assistant Nina has also been incredible kind and helpful to me and answered many questions. We love Dr. Slater's integrity and compassion for people.

Amazing doctor
Doctor Slater is the doctor you've been hoping for. He is kind, quick to respond to negative feedback and correct it! He is a kind human who tries to be funny and succeeds most of the time. I have followed him since he worked with Dr. Landi in Williamsville. Followed him everywhere until he landed here. And I'll continue to follow him. He addresses your concerns, no matter how small. He is now the doctor to a number of my family members.

He was condescending and made inappropriate jokes. He did not make a logical diagnosis and prescribed incorrect medications. 2 other doctors confirmed this. I would not advise going to him.

I believe Dr Slater is an excellent doctor in so many ways. He always listens, gives great advice on a professional & personal level. He takes great interest in you as a person (don't find that anywhere today). He treats you as a human being, which most other doctors fail to do.

I was going to see Dr. Slater when he was on hertel. He is an excellent doctor and cares about his patients. I have tried several times to make an appointment but all I ever get is the answering machine. No one ever calls back after leaving a message to schedule an appointment. Does anyone know how I can make an appointment to be seen by Dr. Slater because I really don't want another doctor.

Dr. Slater listens to me in a way that does not make me feel rushed or discounted. He is respectful and knowledgeable. He is thoughtful in his treatment suggestions and he does not seem like so many other doctors who are pushing tests and medications. I find him to be a breath of fresh air and I would highly recommend him. I wish there were more doctors like him!
