I was refused care because I arrived ten minutes late to the appointment. Although I had checked in on line the day before, and I explained that I myself am a nurse practitioner and got tied up seeing patients that is why I was late, this was not good enough. The lady at the front desk told me that she could not check me in without asking the doctor if they were ok with still seeing me. After several minutes she then told me that the doctor stated he could not see me that I needed to reschedule. This was the first time I had ever been to this particular Baycare Medical Group office and I do not think I will ever be going back.

I had to wait three months to get the appointment, and then another month before I could get the colonoscopy Aug 2015. He was worth the wait! He found severe ulcerative colitis and changed my life. He explained things very well and took as much time as I needed with each office visit. He was very caring, showed me appropriate regard and respect. His previous nurse was awful, but now his office staff is top notch - friendly, courteous and efficient.
