called gave insurance info before visit, asking if they accept my insurance . Response yes . Made appointments accordingly . They cancelled my endoscopy after making it a week in advance because they said the insurance wasn't OK . Never picked up the phone to ask me to straighten it out . Instead they called to tell me they cancelled my appointment for the endoscopy. I asked to find out if they took my insurance . Don't cancel my appointment without asking me even if I wanted to pay out of pocket . Will never go there again. Am constantly vomiting but ,doesn't matter . The can call to tell you you are cancelled but not to say they are having a problem with insurance. .Funny but the next Dr I called , same day steckman cancelled , cleared that my insurance was fine . Ran it in advance . Professional staff . Nothing like steckman's office . Stay away . Better gastroenterologists are available . Ruined my faith in decency .

Dr. Steckman and his entire staff are totally professional in every way. I have had only the most excellent care and experience with this office over the past 5 years.

He is expert in his field and I felt I received excellent care

I have had two routine colonoscopies with Dr. Steckman, one in 2013 and one this week. Both times I was treated courteously by Dr. S., office and medical staff. I even received a follow up call the next day. No complaints whatsoever!

I would recommend Dr Steckman. He was able to answer all of my questions. His staff was courteous and helpful.

Be very careful using this office, they don't care to follow your insurance company when sending out biopsy's. I just received a 4000.00 bill since they sent it to the wrong lab. They don't care about their patient doing something like that. They did make sure my insurance would pay their costs but not for their patient.

I had Dr. Steckman when I was an admitted patient in the hospital. He demeanor is extremely cold and cocky. He had to do a procedure on me and wasn't friendly before or after. I would never ever return to him for an office visit. A very rude and uncaring doctor.

I had a terrible experience during a routine colonoscopy. Rushed in and rushed out. Sent home without being told I had been vomiting profusely and that they continued the procedure anyway. Only a very sore throat caused me to call as find out they had put a plastic tube down my throat and kept on going. I felt beat up. They woke me and said pull up your underwear, which had been put at me feet on the bare floor, pants too, then tried to send me out while I could barely walk.
