Dr. Michael Stone, MD

Beware! I would not let Dr Stone touch me or perform surgery on me under any circumstances. I drove an hour to see Dr Stone and ended up waiting another 90 minutes. Then I was told out of the blue that I had to get Xrays even though I made it clear that I was only there for a Consultation, and that I did not need nor want Cedars extremely expensive Xrays ($5000 for Four Ordinary Xrays just prior on the same part of my body - yes $5k). I was there to discuss the injection of PRP into my shoulders & neck. Dr Stone's nurses said I needed completely unnecessary Xrays, no explanation why. Again I only wanted to Talk To The Doctor. Dr Stone literally refused to see me because I did not want Cedars' extortionate “$1000 per snap” Xrays. He literally sent me away, a paying customer, without seeing me, wasting my day. Since When Is A Patient Not Allowed to Refuse Xrays? The sheer arrogance of Dr Stone in this interaction showed me what kind of a person Dr Stone is: Someone who prioritizes Profit Over Patients (which at this point absolutely describes my experience of Cedars these days on almost every level). Permanent and Hard Pass on Dr Stone. Do not let “doctors” with terrible attitudes work on your body as their utter lack of genuine care will be reflected in sloppy surgeries and procedures. This is the kind of doctor you go see for a minor issue and end up having bigger issues for years to come because they just do not care about their patients and their work is sloppy. This seems to be Cedars Sinai in general in 2025, where it looks like doctors are being told to scam patients by insisting on hallucination-level-priced Xrays so that this Very-Much-For-Profit hospital can rake in the cash. Regardless, for any doctor to deny a simple conversation with a paying patient because the patient does not want more, expensive, unnecessary Xrays is despicable, and reflects a character of someone you absolutely do not want doing anything on your body, This is my experience of Dr Michael A Stone at Cedars who I strongly suggest you avoid at all costs.

Dr. Stone is awesome. I could barely even feel the PRP injection and he was super thorough & patient with me.

I LIKED DR. STONE QUITE A LOT. HE IS AN ATTENTIVE AND INTERESTED PRACTITIONER.

He could have done another cortisone shot for me, but didn't because he said he didn't like to do any unnecessary procedures. I like and appreciate that; that's rare for a physician of his calibers

Dr Stone and Diana are great. Sometimes seems rushed but I always get my needs met

Dr. Stone and the attending resident were stellar in all manner - listening, care, bedside manner. I was also delighted to see a Black resident. Also, Dr. Stone has a very genial and professional demeanor and treats everyone around him with respect.
