My Only Gastro Option (Not By Choice)
When I was told I needed to see a Gastro for a Endo and Colonoscopy a few years ago, I found out Dr Sullivan was the only local doctor who took my insurance. I was warned before my appointment of his bedside manner and the way patients are herded through the center. But even that could not prepare me for the experience. The Endo was fine. But the colonoscopy was another experience. He requires far more prep than any other doctor in the area. His instructions said to keep going with the meds until your bowel movement is clear liquid, which I did. But after it was over, not only did he not check on me, but his nurse said they could not be sure about the results because I was not properly cleaned out. My BM was almost the same as tap water! As others have said, the place has a slaughterhouse vibe to it. Put you on an assembly line and move you through. You literally see Sullivan for all of 10 seconds. If my insurance would allow it, I'd definitely go somewhere else!

Took resident for the 3rd time to get colonoscopay
3rd time to get a colposcopy. Was rejected because patient could not give the exact color of feces. Will never recommend Dr Sullivan to anyone.

Never mentioned to the staff/MD that I was a nurse; so I know proper procedure. Dr Sullivan was the most unprofessional of all the staff. When he came into my room pretending to listen to my lungs and heart was a complete joke, (I know what a basic assessment is). That didn’t concern me because I knew my lungs were clear but too bad for those other patients who may need to be accurately assessed. No one there believes in wearing gloves for any procedure. I honestly I have never seen such a joke of cleaning the procedure suits. They literally push people through like cattle. I’m not 100 percent sure I got my actually results, the dr never gave them to me, he let a nurse do that ( that’s not even legal). However, I was able to hear all the other patients results as HIPPA wasn’t even a consideration. I’m currently fevering 1day after my colonoscopy, I’ll update if it is related and an issue arises. The NO that saw me initially was nice, Sullivan only spoke about 3 words to me.

Ive been going to Dr. Sullivans office for many yrs. I see Rebecca H. And shes always been straight forwarded with me she sits down and goes over all my problems with me and answers all my questions the best she can. On the other hand with the test i wished that the dr would had come and explain to me. But its left up to the discharge nurse and the last time i was there the nurse wasnt very pleasent with me nor my family. I was very dispointant. I know they get tired but u chosen to be a nurse and have curtsy with the patents we pay u and without us patents u wouldnt have a pay check.

The procedure went okay in May. However their billing department must be bullies or think people can pay almost $1300 in one payment to them; this organization made good money off billing my insurance for the procedure. I completely paid one out of their three separate bills for the procedure off in July. I had two bills left and paid on them this month what I could. Then I get a nasty letter from their billing department wanting payment in full or they are going to turn me over to a collection agency and cancel any appointments I have scheduled with them in the future; keep in mind the insurance didn't even finish paying the last on it until I believe July. Snotty billing department. I am planning on paying off the other 2 bills remaining, but I think I may change physicians because I am not going to be bullied. Not recommended until their billing department learns you don't threaten and harass patients who paid 1 out of their 3 bills off in under 2 months after procedure.

I saw Dr Sullivan 10 yrs ago. At that time I gave him a 5 star review because he was an excellent doctor who seemed to care about his patients. I had to go back to him recently because of a serious gastro issue. I was blown away by the difference in him. Not just his arrogant I dont care about you attitude but the way the office was being run. You see him for a minute before you're wheeled into a procedure room and you never see him again. EVER! The flow of the patients is like a slaughter line.

his was the worst experience if my life. after having endoscopy for a simple Gerd issue at night, I could not eat at all after. I vomited daily no help and not considered an emergency. I had to go to another emergency room than another doctor with many tests. over 2.5 years later I am just now starting to eat. I lived on Boost as my food source.

I'm disabled and can't drive, so I have unreliable transportation and schedule due to health flares. This is the only practice I've ever seen in my life where they'll let go of a patient for 'rescheduling too many appointments' NO, not missing appointments but rescheduling. I've always rescheduled at least a week before appointments so they can get someone else in place of me. ''Rescheduling is the same as missing appointments'' On top of that, no warning! Just discharged? Absolutely Ridiculous!

No, I would not recommend. I haven't had my colonoscopy yet, but based on my pre-procedure experience, I'm not confident. When the lab took blood, the lab workers allowed a CNA to train drawing blood from my arm. When the CNA could not get any blood to enter the syringe, the lab person walked over, twisted the needle sideways about 90 degrees and left a hematoma larger than a quarter, and very much raised.

Staff was rude. Production line medicine at it's worst. I was on a 5 day prep and do not see why the prep was so long. The staff would not give me an estimate of time for the procedure even though I arrived at 07:00 for a 07:30 appointment. The facility could use a good cleaning and coat of paint. The wait was like a Disney World line. You wait in one room only to be moved to another room to wait some more.

Endoscopy/colonoscopy scheduled 1 wk apart. Endo 1st, routine check in/out. Colonoscopy 7 days later. Instructions are to not drive a vehicle & after getting home office called to say they needed a document pronto in order to have the proper filing of ins. since I had to miss work. Dr. Sullivan distinctly told the girl he would not bill ins. if they did not have signed that day -had to make trip under orders not to drive & I am sick for being put to sleep 2 x so close 2gether THEY ADMITTED

It was awful to say the least! They couldn't evev get an IV needle in me. I told the nurse I was a hard stick but she said she could do it. Aftet checkinf my arm, she decided on my hand. A bit paunful but could deal with it. Then she tried my foot. Dear god, that hurt! After about 30 seconds of that, I said No More. Left with no exam. Will not EVER return.

I was referred to Dr. Sullivan after a hospital stay. I never met Dr. Sullivan, he sees no patients. Shane Barger, a NP. does the roll of doctor, but has little knowledge of the pancreatitis illness and needs to go back to school and get a doctor degree so that he can learn how to do Dr Sullivans job. I was treated for over a year with Dexilant for acid re flux, I learned by letter from Wallgreens that no patient should be on any PPI for more than 8 weeks. I do not recommend this practice.
