I knew Dr Tans dad when I worked in the Lab at Akron City Hospital and he was one of best Drs I ever met in 37 years Nursing . I now have a serious infection and have been trying to see Dr Tan but I’m told not excepting new patients! He is the only one at this point I trust!

Although I haven't seen Dr. Tan for several years, he was extremely important during a very difficult period when I had three major surgeries, an infected leg which abscessed, emergency treatment for bleeding ulcers, and a PIC line (which Dr. Tan supervised), all in eight months. His calm bedside manner, his patience in answering ALL my questions, and his willingness to take all the time I needed all make him one of the most outstanding doctors I've known.

I have never met Dr. Tan personally but my brother's wife did met him and recommended him as an excellent physician. I tried to book for an appointment to see him for a critical skin condition i am battling with. However, the receptionist I spoke to on the phone was the crappiest receptionist I ever spoke to. To see Dr. Tan, she said they have this weird office procedure which states that anyone wanting to see Dr. must be referred by a physician. This I think is crappy.
