Uncaring, unprofessional and not thorough
We were referred to Dr. Tavil after my 18 month old son had 5 ear infections. The purpose of the appointment was to obtain a hearing test and have him checked by a doctor within the ENT specialty. Dr. Tavil spent 2 minutes with us, did a very brief check of his ears, and instantly pushed ear tubes. He failed to ask about my son’s medical history or explain the pros and cons of ear tubes. He also rushed us out of the exam room and took us directly to the surgical scheduler as if we were just a number for insurance claim purposes. Upon doing further research, we quickly learned that we should obtain a second opinion. I would advise anyone to think carefully when selecting this doctor or practice for your child (especially if they are young). This facility made us feel like we were just a number rather than concerned parents. It appears as though they schedule as many patients as they can within the hour and push procedures down your throat that will produce them the most money.

Did not wash hands!!!
Dr Tavill was confrontational with pungently spicy halitosis. He was devoid of personality, akin to Mark Zuckerberg being deposed. He did not wash hands before the exam. His hands shook so much during the exam that his watch was rattling. This is a bad sign for a surgeon. Disgraceful. Run.

Dr. Tavill is so good at getting to the point and giving you answers that you need. He took care of my son after two other ENT Dr.’s kept giving us the run around . Wish we found him sooner !!!! The appointments and the surgery went smoothly and my sons recovery was great. Thank you all

I am so thankful to Dr. Tavill and the whole team that has worked to ensure my son could be seen and helped. They took the time and made all the effort to be kind, supportive and because of that my son has had zero ear infections. Which means no antibiotics, and no painful crying nights. Since surgery, his vocabulary has increased drastically, he dances and sings along to music... these may be small to some but they are huge for us! Dr Tavill and Team: you helped my son find his voice and from our hearts to yours, we are ever grateful to your skills and kindness. Thank you!

Dr. Tavill and his staff are excellent. The front desk staff, hearing test operator, medical assistant were all kind and personable. Everyone was wonderful and patient with my son. We felt welcomed upon entering the office. Every one was kind and courteous. Everything was professionally explained to us, and that is so important to me. The Dr was so kind and took his time with Amber. He was thorough. The rest of the staff, including the nurse, were wonderful. I cannot say enough positive/good things about this office.
