Worst experience of my life
To quote other medical professionals, this “fool” misdiagnosed me with colon cancer before any pathology results were in. Not only did he diagnose me but he even knew the treatment I needed. After 5 agonizing days during which I set up meetings with various cancer teams, I was informed it was endometriosis. You’d think, that any half-wit would have looked at my medical history and seen that I had been recently diagnosed with endometriosis. I guess that’s assuming too much. And btw, my husband was present for the entire comversation. Avoid this guy at all costs.

I first met Dr. Thiim at Lahey and moved with him to MGH in 1999. He diagnosed me quickly with an autoimmune disorder. He managed me through that for 12 years. Liver transplant at Cleveland clinic in 2020 because wait list in Boston too long. Post-op, Dr. Thiim cared for me until 2018 when I moved to California. He is as good a physician as you will ever find. Extremely competent, kind, empathetic, available-one of the very best in the world of Gi and Hepatology. Saved my life and extended my quality of life considerably.
