Lost 1 star because of my long wait
I am an RN and had fallen a month prior to my appt. I believe Dr Weng is knowledgeable and easy going, but he had an emergency and I had a 1.75 hr wait. I see him again(for another injured body part!)next week so we will see if I can give that review 5 stars.

Dismissive and rude
Doctor was rude and dismissive. Was able to get a second opinion that helped out.

Happy with service
Long wait 35-45 minutes. He is good, so busy. Relaxed, knows his stuff, easy to deal with. Had sore knee- arthritis and meniscus tear. Gave me exercises and rec. Neoprene sleeve. Got worse so 8 weeks later met him again, discussed options. He gave me cortisone shot (immediate improvement) and one month follow up. Happy with service received.

Dr. Weng and God will get me through!
I am grateful to Dr. Weng. He explains procedures, answers my questions, and has increased my confidence in having a total left knee replacement. I'm waiting for a surgery date. I know that I will be in good hands. I have delayed this procedure since 2019. There is no gain without pain. I am ready for my surgery.

Staff rude, communication poor
TL;DR cancelled my appointment (but charged me anyway Cost me $400+) standing in their office because I was 6 minutes late. Unprofessional, poor communication, rude front desk lack empathy, process seems designed to generate revenue from late (and then cancelled ) appointments.

Very Poor Staff
I walked into Dr. Weng's office 8 minutes after my appointment time. The staff informed me I would have to reschedule after a 45 minute drive to their office. Every appointment I have ever had has an appointment window and I have had to wait on this Dr. in the past when showing up early. It is truly poor customer service to treat their customers this way. Getting a new Dr. as this staff is not worth the visit.

In 2001, having weighed 300 pounds, my legs were in a position of the letter K with the right leg having the shape of the crooked bones. Dr. Weng did not hesitate accepting me as a patient. Previously, four other orthopedic surgeons had refused to help me and I was a working licensed practical nurse with the Phoenix VA system. The surgery was successful and I returned to work and ambulated easily and lost 102 pounds. Through the years Dr. Weng has performed the SLAP procedure on the left arm, corrected the left knee meniscus, and injected both shoulders with cortisone with effectiveness. Yes, I would recommend Dr. Weng to my family & friends.

Both full knee replacements in the last 3 months. Dr Weng was very caring and very efficient. He really explains things thoroughly. The surgeries were done as out patient, due to Covid. I am also impressed by his ethics, the way his office always answers the phones. Making communication extremely easy. They even arranged for in home therapy. No hospital stay and no rehab facility needed. Thank you Dr. Weng!

Great office staff. Dr Weng fully explained the repair process. Suggested I try less invasive treatments first and then surgery. Always nice to see a Dr that doesn’t want to “cut” first.

I’ve had 2 total knee replacements ...both left and right. (5 years apart) and both went well... he’s very professional and to the point and will answer any questions or concerns. I’ve been happy with the care I received and my follow up appointments.

My experience with Dr. Weng and office staff has been very good. They have always gotten me in in a very timely manner and Dr. Weng himself is a excellent doctor. He replaced my knee and gave me a reverse shoulder replacement. Both surgeries are complete successes. He is very thorough and caring with his patients. You have to do your theraphy after surgeries or it defeats the purpose.

I was referred to Dr Weng .. I have been diagnosed with arthritis in both knees. My experience with Dr Weng is that he is highly incompetent. He is indifferent to the amount of pain he inflicts with injections without a numbing agent, which he refuses to give no matter how much you beg. .His staff is abrasive and profane. I now have a Dr. that is professional, attentive and would not consider giving shots without numbing agent. the difference is night and day!!!

I've been a patient of Dr. Wengs for over 10 years. While he is a great surgeon, his staff is less than professional. My last three appointments I've waited over an hour to be seen. My surgery was delayed by three hours with no notice. It doesn't appear that they value their patients time.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE -- Dr. Weng triple-schedules patients and his office staff was unwilling to correct a scheduling error they made. The staff informed me when I arrived for my appoint that my appointment was for the preceding week; however, it was their error in scheduling the wrong week -- and I drove 2 hours from Prescott! Incredibly, Dr. Weng triple-books his patient appointments, so they couldn't fit me in. Any doctor that triple-books patients is uncaring and should be avoided.
