Dr Wilhelm took the time needed to listen and assist me in getting to the source of my problem. We were able to come up with a great treatment plan. Dr. Wilhelm explained everything before and after the surgical procedure. Recovery is going well.I am grateful my primary provider recommended him.

Dr. Wilhelm took the time to explain to me my diagnosis of sleep apnea and went through the different treatments that could help me. After reviewing each one, he helped me select the one that would be best for me. I appreciate this approach to medical care.

Dr Wilhelm diagnosed my nasal issue which was increased thinning of the mucous membrane near the bone cartilage from repeated exposure to dry air. He prescribed mupricin ointment, to be inserted into the nasal passage of the affected side, 3x day. I do my due diligence when it comes to any medication, carefully reading possible side effects, the use and application of drugs. Some drugs are "crossovers" meaning they were developed for one condition, but were found to be effective for another. That is not the case with this drug, mupricin, which is indicated SOLELY for topical skin application and in fact there are WARNINGS NOT to use it on or near ANY mucous membranes. I am in awe of the negligence with regard to the prescribing of this medication, and the use outside of it's intended application which could have been harmful to me. In addition, the side effects could be horrendous - kind of overkill for a dry nose. Such is the way of western medicine today - be cautious

Unfortunately I didn't get a good service from Dr Wilhelm at Pikes Peak Ent in Colorado Springs. He wasn't very clear on explaining the problem; they billed me for a "Laryngoscopy" which was without explaining if it was necessary or not. Also, I had problem on getting the medicine from the pharmacy, it took almost a week until the pharmacy received his prescription order. Overall, very poor communication and not-so-good service. NOT recommended.

He is the best. Careful, kind and very patient person. Very objective about findings and patient options. He takes time to explain his opinion and is never rushed. I truly feel blessed to have found him as a caring medical professional.

Very caring attitude- he listens well and explains well. Staff was friendly and efficient.

Dr. Wilhelmen was just great. I had a septoplasty and turbinate reduction as I could now breathe through my nose and it was very hard to sleep. Dr. Wilhelmen handled this nicely and was able to put me at ease. I tend to be highly anxious. The work was done well. He was just top notch and I recommend him. And I am a doctor so I am picky.
