Dr. Michael Wright, MD

Saw Dr. Wright at his new office in Loma Linda. Very nice doctor, listened to my concerns and offered explanations as to why I am feeling the way I am. He recommended treatment that did not include surgery at this time, hopefully can hold off on surgery for the near future. Would highly recommend Dr. Michael Wright.

55 one star reviews can't be wrong. He looked at one view of my MRI and said you need back surgery, never ask me about any details or any type of exam. Said I was hard of hearing, then as he spoke everyone in the building could her him. Second visit was no better, looked at one view of MRI and said need back surgery, no details or type of surgery. Last pain meds I'll give you, fine pain management doctor or have surgery with me. This visit lasted a whole two minutes. I would never let Dr. Wright touch me with a ten foot pole. Why he thinks so great with all the poor reviews?

Very dislike doctor by his patients and colleagues in OKC. He’s a gypsy doctor. He was hated by his staff in OKC. After back surgery he lift me in chronic pain and a drop foot. Please go to his rating in OKC before using him.

My visit was horrible he immediately had his mind made up once he saw my intake forms and the pain medication that my pain management has me on!! I did t ask for pain management I wanted to know what if anything can be done about my neck he was dismissive didn’t want to explain the surgery and rehabilitation and said they couldn’t give me the pain meds I was on!!! I did t come in for pain management!!!! I came to see what can be done if anything about my neck since shots weren’t working!!! Very dismissive and judges. I wouldn’t recommend lakeside orthopedic to anyone!!!!

I went to see Dr Wright and I spent all but 10 minutes with him. He told me I would need injections and possibly surgery in the future. I mentioned that I did not want surgery. Then he told me I would need to find someone in Lake Havasu or Las Vegas to do the injections. No recommendations or referrals. He said he didn't have one name of a person. Was not worth my time.

Worse office I have ever been in. You can feel the stress within 5 minutes of arriving. Staff does not answer the phones. They even admitted to me that the back office staff won’t answer the phone call from the front office staff. The assistant who took me back showed no caring. The doctor interrupted my husband and myself. He apparently read our minds, NOT. He just said my back was falling apart and the pain in my hips was from my back. Very unkind man from this nurses perspective. I don’t want to even pay for such a terrible consult. Went to Mayo in Scottsdale. Found out the hip pain is not from my back but bone on bone in my hips. Terrible experience.

Every visit with Dr Wright was fast, and he didn’t allow for any questions. The day of the surgery, I asked a question and he turned around and yelled at me! As they were giving me the medication to go into surgery!!! I was scared out of my mind, and my dr treated me worse than the gum on his shoe (and, I’m thinking, he might treat that better). Follow-up care wasn’t any better than his pre-surgical care. Protect yourself and your body…do not see this man for ANY type of care.

Dr Wright is an amazing surgeon. He takes time to go over the severity and healing process. I will recommend him to all of my friends new and old. His entire staff is wonderful Nurse Betty is such an asset not only to Dr Wright but to all of his patient’s. Thank you Dr Wright and Nurse Betty for being there in my time of need.

I just had a hip replacement and all I am going to do is tell everyone what a great job Dr Wright did for my hip. He really helped me and I could not be happier. I believe he is the best!

I have little doubt Dr Wright is a good technical surgeon. I’ll never know for sure because his rudeness ,condescension, and shaming attitude is totally unacceptable in a medical provider. It was a ghastly experience for someone scared about a chronic condition.

first surgeon that didn't visit after the surgery.. when i have pain after the surgery he refuse more pain medication. since the surgery i have had worse pain in my right foot up to my knee.. when he refuse pain meds,, i ask him to refer me to a pain specialist,, he wouldn't do it.. Now the pain is much worse than the original complaint..

I trust he will help me with the back pain I'm having.

Fractured my back after a fall at home. Pain management doc no help. Dr Wright injected my back and I left the hospital the following day. Merry Christmas

Dr Wright, Gabe me my Quality of life back (pun intended), and being able to enjoy playing with my grandkids again!

I had significant neck pain raidiating to my left shoulder with numbness and tingling in my fingers. MRI revealed deteriorating disks in my C-spine. After having conservative treatment with 3 epidural steroid injections with no improvement, Dr. Wright assured me he could take away my pain with surgery. I opted for surgery and had amazing results. Not only did my numbness and tingling go away but, post operatively, my pain was managed by 2 days of ibuprofen and then I was pain free. Against Dr. Wright’s recommendation to refrain from running (I’m a runner... and noncompliant),I was back on the road running, with my soft collar on, on post op day 3 with no problems. I am over 2 years out from surgery and I remain pain free all due to the skills and judgment of this physician.

Wouldn’t trust Anyone else with my Family, other than Dr. Wright!
