Dr. Michael Zeager, MD

Like another woman below who left a review, I unfortunately have a similar story about Dr. Zeager. He was my father's primary care physician for many years. My father had complained to him of gastrointestinal issues and abdominal pain for years, but Dr. Zeager never, ever, suggested a colonoscopy or any exploratory steps to diagnose the problem. He said my dad had IBS. Well, in 2018, my father sought a 2nd opinion and was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. We found out only one week after I announced I was pregnant with my first child. My dad started chemo immediately, almost died from a bowl infection, but thankfully recovered. He is still undergoing chemo, but the cancer has spread. If he had not sought a 2nd opinion, I have no doubt we would have lost him in 2018, and he would have never met my daughter. But this is on Dr. Zeager. He should have scheduled a routine colonoscopy long before this became a problem. I will never forgive this man for what my family has dealt with.

Dr. Zeager was my father's doctor for many years. My dad went to him for check ups, bloodwork and took care of himself. When my daddy got sick Zeager treated him for sinus infections, flu, pneumonia, when daddy could not breathe my mother and I had to tell Zeager to put daddy in the hospital. My dad had stage 4 lung cancer. He had treated him for everything else. He had COPD also. Daddy could not breathe. If Zeager had found it earlier my daddy could have had more time with his family. At first I prayed that God would heal my daddy then I asked God to please not let my daddy suffer. Zeager did not even send my mother a card. Don't tell me how wonderful Zeager is. My daddy never said a bad thing about him but he did tell me he had done all the right things as far as check ups. I tried to get my mother to sue Zeager but she wouldn't. I think Emily is wonderful. NP Emily is an awesome health provider. I have been seeing her for a few years now and can tell you she is EXCELLENT! Her bedside manner is great and she treats her patients like she would her family. All the staff there really make you feel at home, Emily kindness, knowledge and compassion shines through all her work. I think she is so great and down to earth. Thank you for all you do, Emily. Dr Zeager has been my doctor for about 30 years. I recommend him highly. He is knowledgeable, keeps his knowledge current and takes time to explain issues and answer all questions. He runs a very efficient office and has quality support staff.
