Was so sure of himself as a PhD
To me and in my opinion he did not appear genuine. Mentioned other neurologist to see and seemed to me not to be honest. Let’s run the cursory tests and send him on his way.

Dr. Vytopil was fantastic! I had an initial appointment with him today because I wanted to discuss three concerns. He was extremely patient, addressed each concern in detail, completed a thorough physical exam, and gave me his diagnoses. He even offered additional follow-up testing, but told me that he didn't think they were necessary. I was so appreciative not only of his warm demeanor, but also of his patience in listening to me. I never got the sense that he was trying to rush me out the door.

Went to see Dr. Vytopil for post concussion syndrome. He didn't listen or care about any of the symptoms I have been experiencing and only seemed concerned with the 3 migraines I've had in my life. I haven't had a migraine in at least 4 years yet he tried telling me I had some migraine syndrome and then tried to write me a prescription for Amitriptyline and refused to offer any other options for treatment or acknowledging that I was suffering from post concussion syndrome. He lightheartedly suggested acupuncture but said that probably wouldn't help at all. I'm a single mom with 2 kids unable to work because of the debilitating symptoms I have been experiencing and he was completely useless and unempathetic in what I was experiencing. Zero stars, thanks for nothing

I was shocked at his incompetence during my visit with him last month. He is a neuro-muscular neurologist, so he only has at most 5 large category neuro-muscular diseases to know real well and each of those might have at best 6-9 primary symptoms each. That is not that many symptoms to memorize. Yet he did not know that weight loss was a common symptom of the neuromuscular disease I have already been diagnosed with by my general neurologist who then referred me to him from the same hospital. In fact, some patients lose muscle and not just fat with my disease. A simple Google search will reveal that as the 5th symptom of my disease! Instead he bounced me back to my internist for cancer screenings. Wow, I am not sure I would trust his assessments if he forgot so quickly what he learned in medical school.
