Very professional, well run office and staff!

This review is not about Dr. Magnino, per se, but about the HORRIBLE, byzantine system Forefront Dermatology now uses to schedule routine appointments. After calling the number for Dr. M's office in Arlington, VA, I waited, and waited, and waited, and waited for someone to finally answer (15 minutes), at which point I realized I had been connected to a call-center. This is new. And then when the "general" asked if I'd like to be transferred to the actual office, I had to go through a whole litany of questions, none of which had anything to do with my desire to make an appointment. So I didn't make the appt. This is not good. Looks like I need to find another dermatologist.

Called today to make an appointment as a new patient. I tried twice to make the appt. on line. Then I called and waited for a person to come on line. A man answered and I had a very hard time understanding him. I had to ask for him to repeat several times. I ended up telling him I would try something else. He was telling me that they would take my insurance and then tell me to call my insurance company to make sure they would cover my visit. Very confusing. I came away from the call that he had no idea and I am not willing to make an appt. and then have to pay out of pocket. Very frustrating. Will go elsewhere.

This was my first visit and everyone was great I had my questions answered and I am looking forward to go ahead with treatment because I really feel like I am in great hands!

Dr. Magnino was extremely kind, patient, and knowledgeable. I had never been to a dermatologist before and was very nervous prior to my visit. She made me feel comfortable and answered all of my questions with confidence.

The doctor was great...dealt with all my issues quickly and answered all my questions. The staff was friendly and efficient. I will definitely use this doctor and practice in the future!

Didn't mention major side effect of medication, which is all over the internet. Find it hard to believe that none of her patients have experienced this. Didn't take into consideration of previous similar adverse effect to a medication that was mentioned during the appointment. Just seems like a routine script to use on all patients, when not all patients are the same. Did not mention what exactly she would be doing during the 'examination' - no heads up to the patient of what she would be doing. Would never go back.

Great doctor and staff

Dr. Magnino is a professional and caring doctor. I have been going to her for several years for annual exams. Her exams are thorough; she asks questions and answers any you may have. Her staff is nice, professional, and organized. I definitely recommend Dr. Magnino to anyone needing a dermatologist.
