Dr. Michele Potempa, MD

I joined the practice recently and immediately felt welcome and at home. My wife was a patient , so when my primary retired, I went to Dr. Potempa I was very impressed with her knowledge and care. I feel blessed to be a patient in her practice!

Dr. Potempa actually listens to the patient and works with them to help the patient achieve goals.

Dr Potempa is the most thorough, helpful and always does whatever she can for her patients. Dr Potempa also give great referrals.

I couldn't pick this woman out of a lineup. Maybe she only sees women. Idk. I have been there 4 times and never even met her. They appear to be a conglomerate of health care (?) that just want your cash, barely do anything for you, and send you packing if you ask why. I never had a general physical or blood pressure taken. The nurses stay on the other side of the room and don't even sound interested. So I decided I'm done with them and will tell others not to see them. Seriously folks, older women seem to be this dr.'s forte. Don't expect to see her if you're a man. Some doctor..

The office was great, now turns us away and will not see us when we are not feeling well. Since when does a doctor only accept patients who are well and say “sorry we can not see you”. Was rude on the phone saying “these are our policies, if you don’t like them go somewhere else”. Will be finding a new primary. How sad.

Dr Potempa and Laurie always greet me with kindness and that’s important to me when going to the drs.

My family doctor retired in Dec 2020 and I thought I would give Dr Michele Potempa a try. When I had my meet and greet in April 2021, I met with her and she went over all my history and said to me, I would like to have a nice conversation with you to get to know you. I had my annual physical with her in Nov 2022 and she was great, spent about 35 minutes with me reviewed all my lab results and answered all my questions. Her PA, Laurie outstanding so nice and welcoming. Whenever I have a question and use the portal I receive a response withing 24 hours. So yes, I would recommend you give her a try.

I have gone to Dr. Potempa for a long time. Unless it’s a sick visit, I always see Dr. Potempa. She is extremely thorough and keeps up with my many health issues. She has had a few office staff members over the years that I am glad they are no longer there. They had nothing to do with the medical care. My husband also goes to her and he was Leary in the beginning about a female Dr. He has never said a bad word to me about Dr. Potempa. Also, Laurie is a great nurse! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a Dr. If you want to see her, you may have to wait. I book my well visits when I check out from the appointment I was there for.

I can't believe this person or her staff are still open. They are the worst place to go. They don't listen to you they don't help you. I came in telling her how depressed I was how my anxiety was getting worse. She didn't care. I then decided to find another doctor as my other doctors had tried to get my medical records and this office refuses to give them. I had to get a lawyer to help me with my medical records. The office staff is pleasant and then the medical staff is the worst they don't care truly about helping you as a human she shouldn't be allowed to be a doctor she doesn't have compassion to help others just herself. She refused to help my husband with his sleep apnea or him trying to get help for his acid reflex. They never have appts that are accomdationg for you. You get whatever they have you don't have a choice.

Dr. Potempa has always had time for me when I have had to come into the office. She is extremely thorough and takes the time to be sure that she doesn’t miss something or that I don’t overlook something. I also appreciate the fact that if she isn’t an “expert” in a specific field she will recommend a specialist.

Terrible Experience. I am absolutely appalled at her behavior and lack of human compassion. She chose to call me a liar and cut off a medication I have been taking for 5+ years. Under her supervision. I would never refer anyone to her again and I will get my daughter out if there ASAP. She is a coward.

I’m not one to write reviews but I have to say Dr. Michele Potempa is what I’ve been looking for in a physician for some time. She took the time to explain procedures and testing I needed. I didn’t feel rushed and left her office feeling I had all my issues addressed and felt confident in her care. Her staff is very welcoming and efficient as well. I will surely recommend Dr. Potempa to friends and family!

over all I like this office . But the PA Melanie has not regard for her patients. Her bedside manner made me switch to a different PA there. And Now she has cancelled my husband's physical that you make the appt a year out - for the 3rd time. I understand things come up - but this is ridiculous. her vacation time is more important than her patients time. She needs to find another career because caring for others is not part of her DNA>

Absolutely disgusted, have been with them over 15 years. Has gone down hill to a point that I can no longer waste my time with them. Takes 10 attempts to eat three on their broken phone system, nothing but attitude when you finally connect. Never a call back or a useful response given. Their “Appointment” system calls you 20 times even if you confirmed your appointment the first time. Don’t waste your time.

I have been seeing Dr. P for about 10 or 11 years now. She is always courteous and concerned. I have never felt a need to find another practice as her staff great. I feel very comfortable with everyone.

I have been with this practice for quite a while. Recently my experiences have gone downhill. Wait times have gone up and I have far less confidence as a patient that this practice is knowledgeable in the slightest. In trying to the office, I’m now on the third day of waiting to hear back from someone in regards to a question I had about my medication. I have called the office twice now. I will be switching to a different primary care doctor shortly after multiple bad experiences.
