Glad I realized she & her staff, were not the best choice for me & my baby early enough. Very brash, terrible bed side manner, just over all terrible experience. She honestly had me feeling terrible for even becoming, unexpectedly pregnant at 40 yrs old., after my only other pregnancy was 21 years ago. Then, after she had me already feeling bad enough, I go for my 2nd HCG test, 72 hrs later, to make sure all is well, she failed to put in the order. No big deal, Ill just call and remind her and still get it done as it would be submitted electronically anyway; no such luck. She's out for the rest of the week and no other physician will sign off for it!

Went in hopeful, left in tears
I saw Dr. Belardo for pelvic pain and heavy periods. I’ve wanted a hysterectomy since I was 20, obviously no one would do it without extreme cause then. The reason I chose to see Dr. Belardo was because of the video that’s on her UH profile. She says something along the lines of “I’m not here to tell you what to do with your body, I’m your doctor, you’re here to tell me.” So I thought she might be more supportive of doing a hysterectomy on a younger, child-free patient. I was wrong. She immediately started to tell me that just because I’ve had side effects with every BC I’ve tried, it might be different this time. She tried to push endometrial ablation but I haven’t heard great things and I want to completely get rid of my periods which is why I want a total hysterectomy. She talked over me every time I tried to ask a question or voice a concern and literally never looked at me when answering questions, she looked at my mom who was there for support.

Incredibly rude, presumptuous, and dismissive. Clearly lacks emotional intelligence and/or the ability to connect with patients. She may be a qualified doctor but I could not focus on what she said because of how she said it.

Very dismissive and a little rough with the exam. She didn't remember that I was already a patient of hers. Never looked at my record. Not once did she ask how I was doing. I had planned on sharing info with her but she talked over me and seemed to have a routine thing she says to anyone in a similar situation. I think she spent less than 10 minutes in the room.

Very unprofessional. Interrupted me every time I spoke and did't listen when I did. Dismissive, condescending and bordeline rude.

Began seeing Dr. B in spring 2018 and she performed my surgery in August 2018 . Appointments were never rushed and she explained options and made sure I was comfortable with next steps. I would highly recommend her.

In an appointment to establish care, Dr. Belardo did not discuss any of my past medical history or current concerns. She was abrupt and lacked empathy. Similar to another post here, she pushed medicine and was visibly annoyed that I asked questions. The exam room was small and dirty.

Dr. Balardo was too brusque (abrupt) in her bedside manner. She was dismissive regarding pain and has a harsh touch.

Love Dr Belardo! Have been a patient for many years. She saved me once from a birth control mishap thanks to her great attention to detail. Also, when I had my son via emergency c-sect she was thankfully on call & made it just in time to stop the on-duty surgeon from stapling my incision. She sewed me up & I had a much easier recovery & barely a scar!

While not my regular doctor, Dr. Belardo squeezed me in when I was in pain after a miscarriage. She realized I had a ruptured ectopic pregnancy and helped me skip the ER and get admitted to the hospital. I know it sounds overly dramatic, but I owe Dr. Belardo my life. Huge thank you to her for catching the problem and getting me admitted ASAP.

I came In for information and education. I was given two options- both pharmaceutical. She got upset with me when I questioned the necessity of pharmaceuticals. I left with no solution, no education and practically in tears. The waiting was also 60 minutes before I was seen, for a 5 minute meeting with an angry Doctor.
