I had a stroke in 2015 and have been seeing Dr. Johansen regularly since then. She is very thorough and has a holistic approach, making recommendations about all aspects of life. When I had a health scare in 2019, she communicated actively with my PCP and made sure that I received the proper care. There is a reason that Hopkins has the reputation that it has maintained.

The visit with Dr. Johansen was extremely comprehensive. Her examination was very thorough and she listened and documented answers to all questions provided by my husband and me. The report she provided was the most thorough and understandable report I have ever received from any doctor in my 82 years. It was unbelievable. If I have any related problem in the future I wold definitely come back to Dr. Johansen

My family has been so fortunate to have located such an amazing Neurologist, Dr. Michelle Johansen.. We found her to be kind, compassionate, and very genuine. Right from the beginning she put us at such ease.. She never has made us feel like we are an interruption when we have called her. She calls back in such a timely manner. Most importantly her knowledge in neurology is superior to any other doctor that we have interacted with. She has truly blessed my family. Thank you Dr. Johansen.

My interaction with Dr. Johansen was a phone consultation asking for a 2nd opinion regarding my husband's hospitalization. She responded to my request for a callback within minutes. I found her to be compassionate & professional. She asked probing questions about his condition & symptoms; what actions & treatment had already been administered. She confirmed much of what had already been done to stabilize him; & made excellent suggestions re: his recovery & long-term care. I highly recommend her.
