Dr. Melany is compassionate, highly intelligent and goes to great lengths to make sure that her patients understand their diagnoses. She educated me about my situation and various options for additional testing using clear and simple language and showed great patience with my many questions. Because she took such care in explaining my tests and my situation, I left feeling very reassured. She is very experienced in her field, which increased my confidence in her. I would recommend her highly.

My surgeon sent me to see her before my surgery. The wait to see her was almost a month but my doctor called and she added me on the next week. I should of given her 5 stars just for that! The technician talked about how busy she was. She was actually pretty quick but when she spoke to me she talked to me like a friend and made me feel more comfortable and seemed to have all the information and I felt like she would of spent more time with me. She was thorough and had a lot of good information.

Dr. michael Harris referred me to her. He said she is the only radiologist to see when you have a diagnosis of thyroid cancer and need to have the lymph nodes checked. Dr. Melany has trained staff to do the scans like her but she has the final word about finding the nodes that makes a difference in the surgery. Once she made the report and I went to see the ENT surgeon, he said he would have sent her to me as well. I only saaw her for a short time but she answered all my questions and my wife's

My doctor, Dr. Sacks recommended her to me. She has a long waiting list and worth waiting for. She is quick, articulate, accurate. She takes time to explain things to you. She is up to date on medical knowledge. She competes with Dr. Sacks in terms of the work she does and Sacks still refers her to a lot of her patients. that is unusual for a radiologist who usually sees patients once.

Dr. Melany performed my ultrasound guided FNA biopsy (thyroid). I was fortunate to have her as my physician. She satisfies all criteria for the best in her field: top training/qualifications, experience, competence, and caring. She saw what other radiologists did not mention on my ultrasound and accurately predicted the result of my biopsy. She also saved me the time and expense of an additional procedure and provided me with a wealth of information. Truly went above and beyond.
