Dr. Michelle Thompson, MD

My initial interactions with Dr. Thompson went well. I went to her because of her reputation of incorporating naturopathic and alternative medicine with traditional western medicine. Things took a turn when Dr. Thompson encouraged me multiple times to allow her to do my pap smear and annual exam instead of my ob/gyn. I finally agreed. She performed the exam and pap smear. After four weeks of no results I called her office and was told there were no results. I asked where my results were and I was asked if I was sure that a Pap smear had been done. Of course I was sure! Another nurse was placed on the phone and I was told that she had been directed to throw my cell sample away without my knowledge or consent. A Pap smear sample was taken, and Dr. Thompson directed the nurse to throw it away after she had told me multiple times to allow her to perform it. I do not recommend Dr. Thompson. She violated my trust and in my opinion, put my health at risk.

She is compassionate and inspiration to the community she serves. She is dedicated and role model of her profession. She is also a human being, she understands, she listens and she gives self-care so she can take care of her patients. I trust her with my health needs as well with my whole family and any friends. There should be more doctors in this world like her.

It took awhile to get an appointment but once I was with her I felt understood and that I can progress with all health issues.

Dr. Thompson is great, caring and supportive. She's made all of the difference in my journey back to healthy.

Dr. Thompson, I feel, is truly changing healthcare. She is always focused on getting well and reaching optimal health. She has an in-depth understanding of how my food and supplements affect my health and makes sustainable suggestions for improving my diet. She is completely present while in an appointment with her and I feel like she truly cares about me and my family. I would highly recommend her to anyone ready to take charge of their health!

Dr. Thompson is an excellent physician. She spends a considerable amount of time with her patients and thoroughly goes through their history. She covers nutrition, diet and exercise and has a wealth of information on these areas. She’s highly invested in our community and provides amazing seminars. I highly recommend her.
