Dr. Michelle Tomlinson-Phelan, DO

As many, I am hesitant to go to a Doctor on a regular basis for checkups, but Dr Tomlinson and her staff are extremely kind and compassionate. Being able to get in touch with them any time of the day or on weekends is a huge benefit of belonging to MDVIP. I was hesitant to pay the extra expense, but it is well worth it. Physicals are very thorough. Dr Tomlinson is extremely personable and takes a lot of time to explain results and offer solutions. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for personalized medical care.

In a follow-up visit, Dr. Tomlinson reviewed all of my meds and reasons for taking them making adjustments based on side effects I was having. She addressed another issue during the visit. Dr. Tomlinson called to review the results of my bloodwork within two days. I am happy with my relationship with Dr. Tomlinson and everyone at the practice.

Joining MDVIP puts Dr. Tomlinson among the worst.

Dr. Tomlinson used to be a great doctor. But I think as she gets older, she's starting to care less and less about her patients. Perhaps she's anticipating retirement and is just phoning it in. I would not wish her office staff on my worst enemy! They are all miserable and seem to hate being there. Why they stay is beyond me. As previously stated by other reviewers, it is nearly impossible to get to see the doctor because they don't schedule appointments. But wait! There is still hope! For $1,910 per year, you can become an MDVIP member! This enables you to reach the good doctor 24/7, and allows you "on time, unhurried, same day or next day visits." Included are, "social rounds at St. Peters hospital for 1st time in 10 years." There's an "annual wellness program with ongoing coaching, travel advantages and more!" I think I'll pass on this membership. And I think I'll pass on Dr. Tomlinson and her angry, miserable, non-appointment scheduling staff. Thank's for your time.

She is an awesome doctor. She is never in rush and takes her time to understand and answer any question. There’s a satisfaction after I see her. However, it’s not easy to get a ln appointment with her. The staff is horrible and the nurse works there, is even worse. She’s totally opposite of her.

Worst ever! THEY DON'T SCHEDULE APPOINTMENTS! You have to call at 8:00 AM and hope they're not "booked for the day." The last five times I called I couldn't get to see the doctor. Most times the receptionist screens your ailments, then tells you she's booked. They have no evening or weekend hours. It's Mon. to Friday, 8:00 to 4:00. Now she's not there on Thursdays! The doctor is good. The office procedures are HORRIBLE! Now that I never get to see her, I am finding another doctor.

Totally different with different patients. Seems to do little more than a google search on her phone when diagnosing. Does not review patient history before interacting. Suggested to a patient who recently returned from an eating disorder clinic to download a diet app to track weight loss. That was the final straw for me. Unconcerned with listening to patient concerns
