Dr. Mieke Lane, DO

Terrible bedside manner, no compassion, dismissive. Her reaction to my pain was to prolong the pain and ridicule me for having the audacity to be in pain. Awful woman.

Wonderful surgeon but terrible with the rest. This practice's priority is really pregnancy and deliveries. Post-partum care is sub-par as is are regular checkups. They will prescribe anti-depression or anxiety meds without doing any background on if there are hormonal problems or if the prescription is compatible with the patient. The office staff is rude on a regular basis and really do not seem to care if you get seen or not unless you are pregnant. Even when you are on-time for an appointment, you can wait in the room for long periods making a 15 minute appointment last more than an hour. They just have too many patients and you can wait 3-6 months to be seen for an annual exam. They have no problem rescheduling these appointments to make the wait even longer. Recommend only for women expecting a high-risk pregnancy but beware your doctor may not be the one delivering your baby as this goes to any doctor at the practice who is on call.

I began seeing Dr. Lane when I moved to the area, and I have been very happy. She is attentive and answers questions I have. My time spent with her is efficient, but I never feel rushed. She is very kind and gentle. I would definitely recommend her to a friend or family member.

As a service provider I understand that experience means everything to my clients. Dr. Lane gets that and she creates an experience for her patients that is memorable. Her bedside manners are impeccable, she goes above and beyond for her patients and even when my little one needed special care she stayed and explained everything. Postpartum, she was available when I needed her. If I was having more children (3 is enough for me), I would totally choose her to escort me and deliver my little one.

Dr. Lane and her staff at Cascadia are wonderful! I always feel like I am the number one priority and my health matters, which is hard to find in a clinic these days! I would recommend this clinic and Dr. Lane to anyone in need of a good OB/GYN!

Dr. Lane, along with the entire staff at Cascadia from back office to front is FANTASTIC. She's perpetually calm and thorough, putting all my anxieties at ease and answering all my questions. I never feel rushed or like an extra question at the end of an appointment is an inconvenience. AND she runs incredibly punctual, which is important when you need to return to work after an appointment. Can not recommend Dr. Lane or the clinic more highly!

Dr Lane has been my doctor since 2007. I was lucky enough to deliver both of my sweet babies with her. I'd recommend her to anyone. She never made me felt rushed, kept me calm when my nerves would hit and always answered all of my questions. She also runs on time, which is helpful for a busy working mom! I also love Cascadia's office and staff! A+++

Dr. Lane was very knowledgable and patient with me. She took the time to answer all my questions. Going to a new doctor (epeciailly this kind of doctor ;-) ) can be very uncomfortable. She made it a point to make feel comfortable.

Dr. Lane is a fabulous doctor who has a huge heart and takes the time needed to address all her patients questions and needs. I've had 3 babies under her care and have had nothing but wonderful experiences with her. With my last baby, I had some pretty scary things going on, but she held my hand through it and we had a great outcome--I am glad I was in good hands! She tends to be on the quiet side. She has zero wait time for appointments, which is always nice! I highly recommend Dr. Lane!!

Dr. Lane had very poor bedside manor. She never addressed my concerns during the office visits, only responded by saying that's normal without explaining anything. During the delivery of my child she was rude to the nurses and barely spoke to me, the patient. During the delivery while pushing for four hours and asking her what happens if I can't push him out her only response was you don't have a choice, you have to. Patients always have a choice about their healthcare.
