I am an RN and am covering care for a post-op pt of Dr Hernandez. I am disappointed with multiple things with this patients care. 1. Incomplete orders regarding pt care. Apparently the patient was given verbal orders that are not reflected on the written orders such as dosage of aspirin post-op. 2. Incomplete dressing change orders. 3. Patients knee is highly swollen, +2-3 edema, fluid blisters, bruising at ankle. My calls were not returned after 24 hrs.

Dr. Hernandez is so kind and understanding. Very thorough. This is the second problem orthopedic was. I had no hesitation to call any one else. He fixed my first problem 16 years ago. Now ready to fix this one. I really loved his office staff. Both were super nice and extremely efficient/knowledgeable. Always easy to get appointment.

We saw Dr. Hernandez for a knee injury my daughter's had going on for almost 7 weeks that we'd seen two previous Dr's about. He is absolutely AMAZING!!!! He spent close to an hour w/us, which is rare for a Dr. to do I'm sure you know...but you could tell he genuinely CARED about what was going on with her & finding & fixing the problem! He explained everything in detail & even wrote a specific PT order, which the other 2 Drs didn't bother to do! You won't be disappointed w/him, he's AWESOME!!!
