He was/is thorough in explaining his perception of the patient’s issues and is cordial/ friendly in talking with me. He gave me options and described what I could expect. I felt like he had sincere empathy for my medical situation and he became a trusty friend!

Dr. Mercado was very pleasant, answered all my questions and I did not feel rushed. My first visit was to the Tomball office and he noticed l lived in Splendora and asked would I like to be seen in The Woodland Office since it was closer. Thought that was very considerate, which I did. The office staff at both the Tomball office and The Woodland's office were all very nice and helpful. Would highly recommend if you have kidney or urology issues

I have been a patient of Dr. Mercado for the past 3-4 years. I never thought I would need a Urologist, but I am so pleased to have found Dr. Mercado. He is very up to date on the most recent developments, treatments, techniques and has a truly remarkable staff.
In addition to his techical ability, he is also very personable and puts the patient at ease.

Dr. Mercado and his entire team are incredible. The professionalism and compassion I was shown at every visit and during surgery was humbling. With 30+ years in healthcare, both at the bedside and administration, I can assure you the care provided by Dr. Mercado and staff is the best you will find.

Went in for a vasectomy. As expected, I was very nervous. I was offered some gas to help ease the anxiety. Process was very relaxed and calm through the whole thing.

I really like Dr. Mercado...very caring..I have always been treated with great kindness and respect and a wee bit of humor. The problems I experience have been going on for years and no doubt we are getting them resolved. He has been very patient with this "old lady". Always explains why and how we will address issues.. Staff is great, always friendly. I have highly recommended him to other folks.

I’ve seen Dr Mercado off and on since I moved to Houston. His office personnel are very friendly. I’ve never had a long wait to see him. I even showed up on the wrong day and they squeezed me in anyway! I highly recommend him.
