Dr. Mikayla Barea, MD

I went to see her to get a couple referrals and got treated like a drug addict . Why would she need to do a drug screen and run a MAPS on me to give me a referral to a orthopedic and a dermatologist i didn't ask for any meds what so ever then she wouldn't give me the referrals i wanted she said we can deal with that next time maybe. I didn't think anyone was allowed to run a MAPS on you without written consent and that was the first thing she did when i asked her why she neeb a drug screen she told me its standard procedure with all new patience if they are getting a proscriptions or not so she is also a lier so she can't be trusted and if you can't trust your doctor they need a new profession

She doesn't listen, when I tried to explain my health issues, she assumed something from over ten years ago that she was completely wrong about yet still belittling me. She insisted I do things against my cardiologist recommendations, waint to repeat the same things over and over again. She was either very nervous or something else was going on she talked over me, change subject before she finished the first thing, and her hands were shaking. Dr. Sanchez was great his replacement is the worst doctor please take my advice go anywhere else but to her.
