Dr. Milad Chrieki, MD

Scary. I could not walk and had to see a doctor ASAP and got him. He saw me and said that I had a blood clot in my knee and wanted to admit me to the hospital. I asked for conformation on the blood clot and he ordered an ultrasound and X-rays and both results were negative for a blood clot. He sent me to an Orthopedic Surgeon the very next day who wanted to do meniscus surgery ASAP. Again I asked for conformation and requested he order an MRI which showed 3 meniscus tears and severe arthritis. This orthopedic surgeon has multiple lawsuits and has been disciplined. I walked out of his office refusing the opioids and prednisone since I am a diabetic. I found an Orthopedic surgeon went to physical therapy and I am 100% pain free. Surgery would have had me limping since the arthritis is severe. The whole experience with Chrieki scared me.

Apparently the Dr left the practice without notifying any of his patients. my pharmacist has been calling for 4 days now, no response. I called, and they told me he is no longer there. no one has taken over his practice. they have no idea where the medical records are, but they can connect me with another doctor who is taking patients. So where does that leave the patients? Out of meds, no refills, no appts without getting tagged as a new patient and all those fees. Great.

Dr. Chrieki is very knowledgeable in the medical field and up to date on all his studies and medical procedures. He is also kind, caring and considerate. Very thorough and always asks if you have any questions at the conclusion of each visit. His staff is great as well. I am happy that I found him!

Dr. Chrieki is very knowledgable. He is also very kind and understanding. I think he would be able to practice better medicine if he were not at a Health First location. It is very tiring being referred out for common problems that I have had other family doctors take on themselves. The office staff is always very nice, but can be unorganized. My family had several occasions were prescriptions were not called in at all, or correctly, by the staff.

I was billed $55 for smoking counseling of which Medicare pays none. Never asked for it, never wanted it and was only handed the flyer about Florida's helping with smoking cessation. This same flyer can be found in any office waiting room or anywhere in any hospital in Florida. But I am supposed to pay out of pocket $55 because he handed it to me ? Sounds like fraud to me and will be reported as such !
