4 minute visit
Fong spent 4 minutes with me as he was in a rush to take a trip.He told me I wasn’t Anemic when my chart clearly indicated I was and had been for many years.I had a history of DVTs and had a recent DVT and had been on blood thinners for 5 years. He told me I didn’t need them anymore even though two other doctors told me I was on them for life after being hospitalized for a recent one. This person is dangerous to patients. He very arrogant and doesn’t check medical records.

Avoid Fong!!
I am writing this review to warn others about the extremely poor care I received from Fong. My experience was nothing short of a nightmare. From the very beginning, it was clear that Fong was not a competent provider. The lack of communication and transparency was appalling. Critical test results were delayed, and when they did arrive, Fong failed to explain them in a timely manner. This level of irresponsibility is unacceptable, especially in the field of oncology where patients need thorough, compassionate, and timely care. I strongly advise anyone seeking oncology care to STAY FAR AWAY from Fong. The stress and frustration caused by such unprofessionalism and incompetence are the last things anyone battling cancer should have to endure. Save yourself the trouble and find a provider who truly cares about their patients' well-being.

Treatment of Pancreatic Cancer
Simply put, Dr. Mitch Fong helped save my life. I was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in 2022, which in 2023 became stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Dr. Fong did not give up on me. Very long story short, this past week I was shown to be cancer free by a PET C.T. scan. We thank the good doctor and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Dr Fong is a Monster He’s mean and angry
I went to him desperate He diagnosed me with a rare blood disorder called Porphyria I received two treatments but any time I asked a question regarding my illness he would verbally attack me and get angry I’m literally afraid of him now and now I’m forced to find another doctor and have to start all over again When I told Dr Fong I was scared and had anxiety He snapped at me and said “ How do you think my patients who only have 3 months to live feel?!” My chin was on the floor I’ve been suffering for over 25 years with this blood disorder I have lesions all over my entire body I’m in so much pain and itching that I can’t sleep or get comfortable I haven’t been able to leave my house in 4 years, I’m losing the battle of life I wonder every day how much longer can I go on like this, so for him to treat me and talk to me the way he does is completely unacceptable my husband is my witness is was there every visit and every phone call Dr Fong is a nightmare

The staff is horrible. The phones do not get answered, they are constantly go to the answering service nor do they return calls the answering service who claims they sent messages. I have never been so disappointed in a doctors office. Dr Fong deserves to have better staff. GET BETTER STAFF

I was diagnosed with aggressive B Cell lymphoma. I cannot say enough good about Dr. Fong. He explained everything very thoroughly and is very compassionate and caring. Listens to concerns and is very sensitive to them. I am so grateful to have him as my oncologist. I highly recommend him.

Perhaps THE BEST Doctor I've ever had & THE BEST Nursing Staff & Front Office teams you could ask for . It's was & continues to be a pleasure coming to my therapy &/or check-up appointments. During my illness, they soothed the anxiety, were calming but straight whether the news was positive or negative & sensitive the myriad of questions they regularly received from me, many repeats and I'm sure the same ones they're asked by patients over and over. They treated me like I was the first person to ask the question and provide a detailed explanation, all the time empathetically & slowly to better understand even when under very busy patient conditions. Kudos to an excellent team of healthcare professionals! :)

He is the worst Doctor I have ever met in my life. He is arrogant and insensitive to his patience and dare if you ask him a question twice. I wished that my husband was never assigned to this doctor. For new patients, please do your research before going to him.

Dr. Fong is the most energetic and positive cancer specialist who has treated me. This is my third bout with breast cancer. Dr. Fong treated me with chemo therapy that made my very aggressive cancer disappear. Now it has been several months since chemo and Dr. Fong is still just as interested in my care and health.

Dr. Fong is the most compassionate kind doctor. I am so grateful to have a doctor taking care of my chemo like him. His staff is wonderful and I love my nurses who take care of me. I can’t imagine how anyone could say anything negative about Dr. Fong and his staff. ????????

Dr. Fong is very arrogant and is untruthful with his patients about their condition. He told us that my husband was in remission. When I asked him, based on the test results and my husband's increased pain, how he came to that conclusion, he asked me Where I Got My Medical Degree! I got a second opinion and my husband was NOT IN REMISSION, BUT WAS TERMINAL and died 6 months later. Fong is more concerned with his ego than his patients condition. Do Not Use Dr. Fong! Run, Run, Run Away from This Megalomaniac!!!

Staff was awful. The 5-6 girls in the office didn't even acknowledge our presence. The staff talked, laughed, ate food, made appt to get Tattoos which would cost $80.00 a piece. Could hear everything. I've been treated better at McDonalds. Are the MD's aware what goes on? Signed in at 2:15 as a new pt. Our appt was for 3:00. Wasn't called up to fill paper work out till I asked for it @ 2:45,Terrible staff for an Oncologist office.Dr. Fong could of been compassionate. Stg,4 lung cancer.Left in tears

Very challenging to get an appointment due to incompetent staff. Front staff gives wrong information about insurance. Their new patient coordinator "Lily" never picks up her phone and does not call back timely. I wonder what she does all day.

Dr. Fong has been my oncologist since I was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer in 2012. Since successful shrinkage of the tumors made it possible for me to opt for a lumpectomy rather than a mastectomy, Dr. Fong has monitored my successful treatment program involving surgery, a second round of chemo and radiation. I have been cancer-free almost 3 years. Dr. Fong sees me regularly to discuss my blood tests, mammograms & general health. He is very thorough and attentive to all of my concerns.

I saw Dr. Fong because of high Creatine levels. He thought those levels were fine but found an underlying serious condition Polycythemia Vera, too many red blood cells which explained my red face and fatigue. He also encouraged me to have him fill out VA form for me to get compensation benefits because of exposure to Agent Orange for 19 months in Vietnam. Dr. Fong is an incredible doctor, highly compassionate and had me get phlebotomies to bring my condition under control. Please go see him!
