Dr. Ming Chien, MD

Dr. Chien listened to us regarding our daughters ten days of high fevers. Despite our daughter not having a fever at the time of check in we never made to feel like we were lying or looking for medicine as a previous Dr. had hinted at. Dr. Chien ran tests and was able to diagnosis and start treatment all in 3 hours. Thank you!

We saw Dr. Chien in the ER. I was very adamant regarding my concerns with my son’s previous surgery in relation to his current medical complaints. I told Dr. Chien that I believed my son’s new issues were related to the past surgery. Dr. Chien laughed, saying there was no relation as it’s been 9 months since the surgery, “this is a new problem, not something we took care of last year.” He said my son was dealing with constipation, even though I stated he had been having regular bowel movements. We go home with no answers, just a recommendation of using stool softeners. 2 weeks later, my son is admitted to the hospital with complications from his surgery, exactly what I was concerned about originally. Stump appendicitis with abscess, and phlegmon. 2 months of antibiotics later, and waiting for a second surgery. Parents should be listened to, not disregarded and laughed at.

Dr. Chien helped my teen with a sensitive issue during an emergency visit. He was unbelievably compassionate, knowledgeable and kind.
