Not good. I have been trying for months now to communicate with him, only to have him dismiss me at every turn. At every visit, he walks into the examining room smiling as he shakes my hand asking how I am and that is the last human contact; as he walks across the room to his computer with his back to me as I attempt to explain to him the pain I am experiencing with Stage IV Breast Cancer only to have him minimize my concerns that the meds he is prescribing are barely touching the pain I am experiencing. He is more concerned with being questioned by the powers that be regarding the pain meds he is prescribing than in adequately prescribing pain meds I need in order to be able to function. Again, VERY DISMISSIVE in his responses to my concerns. and need for stronger pain meds to allow me to lead a close to normal daily existence while living by myself and which pharmacist friends even question why the pain meds strength/dosage are so low as to be ineffective.
