Rude office staff
My initial visit was good, and I paid a deposit for a procedure. Two weeks before my surgery, the office called me everyday to get a payment, but I was very sick in bed and did not answer my phone. I was not informed they would call prior to surgery to collect the balance. Since they could not get a hold of me, they called my emergency contact…in an attempt to find me to get payment! They then sent me an email and THEY cancelled my procedure because they did not like the way my emergency contact talked to them on the phone. My emergency contact told them I was sick in bed. When I did call them back 7 days prior to scheduled procedure to discuss the cancellation they informed me they were keeping my deposit even though they cancelled the surgery without actually talking to me. When discussing the issue about a refund, they actually asked me if I could provide a doctor’s note for not answering my phone when they called. Terrible experience with office staff!

The patient DOES NOT come first here
Dr. Sami's credentials are impressive and a perfect fit for my festoon issue. However, I just phoned for a consultation and was informed the consultation fee is $500. The justification for the charge is (many years previous) I had blepharoplasty surgery and Dr. Sami will want to review my issue in detail. This is a for profit business so I don't take offense to paying for a consultation. However, in my follow up question I asked, 'After the consultation, if I choose to continue with a procedure with Dr. Sami, can the $500 fee be credited toward the surgery fee?' The curt and rude response was, 'No!' There was no further explanation available as the receptionist was quick to hang up the phone. This was a 180 degree difference to the positive experience I was expecting to encounter. It was as if my call was an interruption to their day. The only upside to this interaction is that it is likely better to find out about the attitude now, then to discover such after becoming a patient.

Great doctor. Staff terrible. Not worth it. Find someone else.

Dr. Sami and her staff were excellent. She performed surgery on my upper eyelids and I'm very pleased with the results. The clinic and customer service are topnotch. I am glad I had the surgery done. My vision had greatly improved and my friends said I look younger.

Dr Sami is top of the top! I love her personality. Such an awesome down to earth beautiful lady. She made me extremely comfortable befor, during and after eyelid surgery.

Dr. Sami is an excellent surgeon! She really spent time with me explaining everything from what to expect before, during, and after surgery. Her staff is very professional. Highly recommend Dr Sami.

Was surprised at the care that was given and ease of the surgery. Recommend that all the women that have a question about their eyes not wait and second guess the need for surgery.
