Great IF you are healthy!
Dr. Wong will keep it short. He is quite cold in his responses and is simply not holistic in his practice. Not concerned with the 'big picture' of his patients. Definitely no nonsense and No bedside manner. He does force a smile every now and again. I will not be seeing him again, but he might be great for others.

My 96 yo great aunt has been a pt of Dr. Wong. She had a UTI 10 days ago. His office saw her. Today she call with UTI symptoms. They told her they would email her a list of urologists, she should choose one, call them back and they will try to get her a referral appointment. 4 hours later and the list still had not arrived. At a minimum, a follow up appt should have been offered today. A referral could happen, but she needs meds today. This is the third time she has received horrible care from this office. I will be moving her to another dr. She may be elderly, but she is healthy and active. The lack of concern of care from this office is sickening!

Would not recommend
This was my first and last visit with Dr. Wong. Simply disinterested in anything I had to say or the reasons I came to visit. More interested in running through his checklist and then debating me on what other doctors had said or previous bloodwork and history. I'm sure he's very smart but the beside manner and ability to hear someone is completely lacking.

Do not waste your money. Please.
My original review is too long so I had to write a summary. I’ve been having some stomach pains, I used to have chronic ulcers and it feels just like that. I usually go to Nicole Smith, she is amazing but she was booked up so I have to schedule with Dr. Wong. I tell Dr. Wong about the ulcers, he dismisses it and tells me it’s appendicitis and his assistant pressures me to take a CT scan that I cannot afford. The CT scan tells me what I already knew, it’s not my appendix. I have to beg them for anti nausea medicine and when they finally call me back, they tell me everything came back normal and to just wait it out. He doesn’t tell me what over the counter medicine to make it feel better, he pawns me to another doctor, and his assistant isn’t much help either. Please go to a doctor who actually cares and deserves that degree.

No BS kind of Doctor is MY GUY
Look - after reading some of the reviews, I understand how some patients may feel rushed or not as cared for as a therapist....but Dr. Wong is an outstanding doctor. Keep in mind he is seeing Medicare patients nearly every 15 minutes, so he's not going to ask you how your dog is or what you did last weekend. He's to the point, very professional, and NOT your therapist.Love the guy!

Dr. Wong does not know what’s he’s doing, doenst ask any questions at all as a doctor your supposed to be professional and know how to communicate with your patients. My mom recently saw Dr. Wong and he didn’t even ask her any questions as to why she’s here or what’s wrong. But just stood and looked at his computer saying nothing then ended up getting annoying or mad and slammed his papers on the table. He doesn’t know what he’s doing!

A great Physician
My wife and myself are lucky to have Dr. Wong be our family doctor. Dr. Wong is a kind, thorough, strait forward, with no rush appointments, takes his time to explain what needs to be done with a quick follow up when needed.

Noooo bedside manner
No bedside manner and pushes you off to outside medicine. This time as a healthy, active 41yr old obviously I know my body. We went to the ER yesterday and a spinal tap was performed and we were sent home awaiting more results to come back. I seen Dr.Wong today due to an excruciating headache that my husband had to help me get dressed to even make it to see him. Got there, got in the room and he came in acting the same as last time…he acted as we should tell him what was occurring instead of him being a Dr and helping us. My bloop pressure was 179/99 (norm 110/60ish) so obviously I am in distress. He could have cared less! Told my husband and I that I needed to meditate…ARE YOU KIDDING RIGHT NOW?!? Come to find out after going straight to the ER after walking out when he told me to meditate the ER found I was having a spinal headache caused by leaking spinal fluid. Will NEVER see this heartless man again! His PA, Nicole is absolutely amazing!! If not for her, i would leave.

Lack of Empathy
As everyone knows ADHD medication is a struggle to get lately. It?s constantly on back order. My spouse has had ADHD since he was less than 10year a old. Without his medication he becomes violently ill and struggles to even function with his job. You have to physically go in to every pharmacy and inquire if they even have your medication. Most don?t. Today we went to 3 different pharmacies until we finally located it. The original prescription was sent to the first one the day prior with no ETA on the medication and none in stock. We contacted the doctors office at 1:30pm to request a medication transfer and we?re told it was complete. I waited for over an hour at the pharmacy until we called back to confirm it was actually not complete and wouldn?t be until 5pm when Dr. Wong had time. My spouse was then notified after 4pm Dr. Wong was “uncomfortable” transferring his medication due to Putney being out of office. By tomorrow Walgreens will probably no longer have this medication.

The two appointments I have had with Dr. Wong have been unpleasant to say the least. Each visit he comes off as arrogant and condescending. I get that could just be his personality and I would be willing to put up with that if he properly diagnosed me. Both times I tried explaining this common sinus infection reoccurrence I keep having and he basically argues and questions my symptoms that I am telling him I'm having and have had in the past. I saw him early when this sinus infection was starting and he told me there was no infection and didn't believe that I was prone to these and just gave me some OTC meds and said I'll feel better in a couple of days. Here I am two days later with both ears so infected they are clogged and all my sinus' hurt to the touch. I feel he needs to learn some people skills and maybe listen to what the patient is telling him, rather than looking at it black and white. I will be looking for a new physician.

Seeing the other reviews of Dr. Wong, I felt obligated to speak up. Dr. Wong recently took over for my previous physician, who retired. Though young and fresh out of med school, I have found Dr. Wong to be enthusiastic, friendly, and professional. I have not had any bad experiences, and would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

I was displeased with the lack of professionalism of the staff, the mistake of not verifying a fax number, and the apathy of waiting to respond to a patient's questions until after business hours on a Friday after we were told her would call hours earlier.
