Great doctor
He had to perform surgery in my back due to a car accident, and he was very informative if what was going on and what he was gonna have to do..he talks to you and listens. I think he is wonderful and he did an awesome job on repairing my back. Anyone that has to see him they are in good hands. Thank you for talking and taking the time to explain everything. You are wonderful!

Amazing Doctor
A doctor that is very concerned about getting his patients feeling better. He has done two of my surgeries and I would recommend him to everyone. He doesn't pass judgement and takes time to actually listen to you.

Left late for his trip
I fell and broke a vertebra in my back, just one but it was the largest one. Saw Dr. Patel on a Monday and we were trying to get authorization from my insurance for surgery Wednesday because he was leaving out of town on Thursday, and he didn't want me to have to wait until the next week. Authorization didn't come thru, so upsetting. Then got a call late Wednesday that they got it and if I could be there at 5 AM, he'd do it Thursday before leaving for his trip. That's a doctor who really cares about his patients. I was so grateful and I'll never forget that. I'd give him 10 stars if I could!

Dr Patel is a very good Doctor. I would recommend him to anyone. Im 64 years old female and he did a difficult spinal fusion on me 2 months ago and I am doing great. The pain in my low back and hips are gone. He was the best doctor and always his time with me, answered all my questions. I’m so very thankful I found Dr Patel.

I saw Dr. Patel today and had lots of questions for him but was very rushed. None of my questions were ever addressed & I asked the nurse how much ibuprofen I could safely take in one day..her response was well you better jurry & ask cause he's on his way to surgery. I did not ask for any pain meds but desperately need something. I felt very rushed for $125 copay. Very disappointed.

Very unprofessional. He doesn't allow his patient enough time to say anything. He blows in the room and tells you what he wants then boom tries to leave. We literally had to make him stay in the room and ask for meds and a fmla . He belittled us. Not happy with services at all definitely will get a second oppinion. Hopefully the next doctor will be more caring like asking question are you able to work? What can I do to comfort you from the pain? Do you sleep at night?

Expected to be sent for PT, but he stated I definitely needed cervical surgery, but wanted clearance from shoulder surgeon as had that surgery about 2 weeks earlier. Returned 1 month later with approval and he acted like we were pushing for surgery and said I didn't need it and should just have pt. Asked of I had a preferred pt, which I did, but he ignored and pushed his. 2 days later requested pt orders be sent to my pt, but they never did. How go from wanting to schedule surgery to no?

Dr. Patel ordered a MRI to locate my back problem, did an excellent job explaining the surgical steps to correct the problem and did an excellent surgical job to relieve my back pain. That was approx. two years ago, excellent and personable physician and surgeon. By all means, I highly recommend him.
