Dr. Mohamad Hamdi, MD

I have been struggling with bleeding for years and wanted a hysterectomy. Been to many doctors before who would say I needed an iud or pills despite telling them over and over that I don’t want hormones. Dr Hamdi was recommended by a friend of mine. He was very friendly and professional. He explained all my options including medication and surgery and since I had been bleeding for so long and was miserable and could not work when on my period he said the hysterectomy is an option as well. I had that with the robot and that was life changing. I never felt that I was being pressured to do one treatment or another. He explained what my options are, explained the good and the bad about each and respected my wishes. It’s a busy practice so there might be a long wait to get to see him but it was definitely worth it.

Dr. Hamdi was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate. He took the time to listen to my concerns, thoroughly explain my diagnosis and treatment options, and answered all of my questions. I never felt rushed. I have referred many of my friends to him

This was only the 2nd time I had met with Dr Hamdi right after having an ultrasound and they couldn’t find a heartbeat. Of course, I had a sliver of hope that maybe the timing was miscalculated or something and he barged in and said ok have you ever had a miscarriage before? No? Ok well you have 3 options…. He NEVER paused to explain that my baby was in fact gone and why they know that. I then stopped him to clarify and asked if he was 100% sure that the baby had died. “Well, I can’t say 100% but it’s very likely based on the gestational age. I guess you could go for a follow up ultrasound but they will probably ask you why you’re there.” WHAT?!? How can you expect me to go ahead and terminate this when you can’t 100% tell me??? We said we would like a follow up and on his was out he habitually told my husband and I to “have a good day.” I was furious. I called and complained and was met with little compassion and instead defense of Dr Hamdi.

Terrible experience

Dr. Hamdi is a fabulous doctor, I highly recommend him as a provider. I came to him after looking for a second opinion. He takes his time explaining everything to you. Very caring with great bedside mannerism.

Absolutely wonderful and caring provider. We went in for an ultrasound and found out we were having a miscarriage. Dr. Hamdi listened and walked us through the entire process. He made us feel heard and validated all of our emotions.

Dr. Hamdi is very responsive, fully present during appointments, and fully and concisely explains everything and address all of my concerns. I never feel rushed or leave with unaddressed concerns. I am confident in his care, and VERY grateful to have an ob-gyn I trust.

I highly recommend Dr. Hamdi! He is professional, extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, explains everything to you with a great bedside manner, makes his patients feel comfortable, and never rushes you. I can’t recommend him enough, especially for prenatal care and delivery.
