Caring, respectful health-care partner
Telehealth
I met Dr. Abu-Salha today for the first time and found him to be respectful and knowledgeable. I knew there might be an issue about one of my meds; he listened to my thoughts, made sure I was aware of the risks, and confirmed I should continue with caution. I prefer a physician who is the more knowledgeable partner in my health care and Dr. 'A' fits the bill.

I have been a patient of Dr. A for over four years. Dr. A has always been kind and considerate. At every visit, he has treated me with respect always listening to my concerns, problems, etc. He and I have worked in tandem to put together my treatment plan. I am thankful for his listening ear and his compassion. I have high regards and respect for Dr. A.

Dr. A is exceptional in handling children ADHD issues. Until we began seeing Dr. A 5+ years ago, our child was never stable with the ADHD. Dr. A is very abreast to medication combinations necessary to treat ADHD and anxiety which was exhibited in the positive changes in our child. Without Dr. A and his knowledge and treatment, I do not feel our child would be where they are today - happy, can now socialize with others, graduated high school, and holds a full time job as a top employee month after month. I unequivocally recommend Dr. A for any psychiatric treatment based off of our experience.

Dr. A has always been a pleasure. He is kind, supportive, and he really listens to help not just to provide an answer. I've been seeing Dr. A for a few years and have always had a very positive outcome, I feel supported and healthier overall. Thanks Dr. A!

Dr. A is a wonderful psychiatrist. I have been seeing him for years. He is open and honest with me and also listens. He is not one to just throw medications at you, although a lot of mental health treatments involve medications, he simply does not over medicate.

Probably one of the worst doctors we have seen. He was nearly a hour late for our appointment, then we felt rushed during our time. He didn't listen to me and constantly interrupted me while I was trying to speak. Thinks he knows all about medication, even though he still prescribed medication for us that has failed us in the past because we haven't tried it 'HIS' way. We will not be going back and I would never recommend him.

Many psychiatrist in my opinion try to prescribe a ton of meds and keep you on medication for life to keep themselves a client. Not Dr. Abu-Salha. He is an experienced Dr and parent who cares. Your wait time is a little long because he takes his time with his patients to give them the riget care. His goal is to eliminate dependence on medication and to have a stabalized life. A real person in that position is hard to find. I have been to several therapists and psychiatrist and he is the best.
