Thorough and Caring
I really like Dr. Yusufzai. He listens carefully and responds to my needs. He is willing to work with me to try different approaches to problems or health concerns. His staff is very sweet and friendly. There is frequently a wait of 15 minutes or so once you're in the exam room. I think this happens because he provides personal attention to each patient, which slows him down. Now that I know this is the norm, I just bring a book to read while waiting.

Each time I was here for specific issues he went down the computer 'list'. Telling him why I was there after establishing care he acts like I'm a New Patient which we did 2 months ago. Finally addressing why I was there now he would type it up & say 'You can try...' I asked how would that help? He said 'I don't really know' He also told me stop a med I've had for years as 'I know someone who had a bad reaction'. I told him I've had no problems and he ignored me and put on my AVS to stop it with no alternative. (A specialist gives it to me, not Mohammad). Then he tried to prescribe a med I'm allergic to and is listed. Luckily I caught it. Each visit I left frustrated confused and not treated or helped. He walks me up each time to 'Get him an appt in 3 months' for no reason. I finally had enough after a few confusing unhelpful visits as he won't listen/help/examine/investigate and seems to have no knowledge. If you go here, take someone with you as the 2 Drs here are confusing.

First visit with Dr Mohammad I was pleased. Thought he was going to help me go forward and to improve my health. Next appointment Dr Mohammad was out and his brother came in. Dr Sultan cancelled what Dr Mohammad ordered and changed the treatment which did nothing to help. I've had 3 visits in this office and am still at square one. Referral was sent to an out of network Doctor. Prescriptions sent to the wrong pharmacy. Things ordered without my consent or knowledge and me not knowing why. I've spent the better part of 4 months trying to clean up their errors and trying to understand why certain things were ordered and why some too soon. When I talked to Dr Mohammad about the errors in referral and pharmacy and the cancelled procedure by his brother he became defensive and argumentative. I left with no improvement, no plan, and no better understanding of my problems. The M.A.s are really nice, but he always wants quick "follow up" appointments, when there's nothing to follow up on

My husband and I are very happy with Dr. Mohammad Yusufzai. He takes time with you and really listens. I feel that hes thorough and has better safe than sorry approach meaning he takes things seriously and will err on the side of caution. He also had a great bedside manner. I had a gyno issue and he was knowledgeable but felt that I could get better help with my issue seeing a specialist and referred me to one. I appreciated that.

I have seen Dr. Mohammed Yusufzai several times during 2018. He is decent, seems fairly knowledgeable in some areas. I am not sure I would recommend him for women's gynecology type appointments, in that he might be lacking experience in this area. His brother, Sultan, does seem to be more knowledgeable or at least seems to have more experience.

If I could give zero stars or negative stars I would. I was forced to change providers when my insurance through work couldn't come to a price agreement with UC Davis. I chose Dr Revesz's office and was mostly pleased with them, despite the office not even being close to the professionalism and level of care UC Davis provided my family for over a decade. Then Dr Revesz retired and the Yusufzai brothers apparently took over the practice. The staff are nice enough, and I've only seen Mohammad Yusu
