Dr. Erakat was dismissive and arrogant during both appointments. Didn't review my chart prior to my follow-up visit, and examined the wrong tooth despite my pointing out that the problem was the on other side of my mouth. He repeatedly insisted that I was wrong. I'm sure he's a great surgeon, but maybe he should have read my chart before my follow-up visit. I do believe that his behavior would have been more respectful had I been a man.

Dr. Erakat is the best! My son went to him for a tooth extraction, and with almost no pain the procedure was completed quickly. If you need an oral surgeon, Dr. Erakat should be at the top of the list.

Unfortunately, I have had to undergo many dental & oral surgery procedures. I recently used Dr. Earakt for removal of 2 teeth and preparation for implants. My dentist was extremely impressed w/his professionalism & the quality of implants he inserted. I was extremely anxious; so I appreciated being sedated so both teeth could be removed at once. His staff was so kind as was he. I need to have additional work done for removal of a tooth & an implant- so glad I am his patient.

I needed to see Dr Erakat urgently for my daughter, his office staff fit me in later that same day. They communicated well with her pediatric dentist before I got there and were able to see us right away. Dr Erakat was very friendly, he took the time to explain everything and made my nervous daughter and me feel at ease. The nursing staff was also very courteous and attentive. He did an excellent job and my daughter recovered well. I'm glad Dr Erakat is there when we need him!

I would not question the skills or competency of Dr. Erakat, but did not appreciate the "business" driven environment of the practice. I did not feel he spent enough time with the patient and seemed uninterested at times. I real felt more of a client with $ sign on my head than a patient. Unfriendly and cocky. Went to another surgeon.

Highly recommended. Took my 14 yo son for extraction of 6 teeth; 4 of them were quite complicated. Had seen surgeons at a different practice prior to this; Dr. Erakat did an excellent job explaining the procedures, possible risks and putting all of us at ease (mom was esp. worried about general anesthesia). Dr. E and his team were friendly, efficient and patient during initial assessment, actual surgery and follow-up appointment. My son has healed well with very little discomfort. Thanks!
