Excellent Care
Dr Hussain takes time to understand each person's medical needs. At times, this means he spends a little more time with another patient, but is equally willing to attend to me. Answering questions and giving reasonable advice. My first visit resulted with learning my cholesterol, blood pressure and heart rate were all extremely high (BP was 170/110 now 120/80). All are under control now. I'm feeling well and enjoy going out and about with my wife and great grandchildren.

Dr. Hussain was my primary care physician under my "catastrophic" insurance plan. To get a referral for services he doesn't perform, I had to get (1) CBC and (2) mammogram, which he prescribed. I got the CBC, no problem, but have been trying for months to get a response from Dr. Hussein's office as to where, and when, I can get the mammogram. I called 6 times in 3 months, giving the office adequate time to figure this out, and spoke with staff. Nobody called back or provided answers. (The office can't claim to've had a wrong number, as I left it with staff repeatedly.) I recently switched my primary through the physicians network because of this, and discovered Hussein's office never contacted the network to put in the request. This is outrageous. Dr. Hussein's manner is fine/good; I had no problem with that. That fact is irrelevant if he and his office, for whatever reason, neglect to fulfill a routine service covered by insurance—a service required to get further medical care.
