I was in for my Annual Exam and I've seen Dr. Sisto for over 25 years. My Exam ( I'm a retired Dentist and R.N.) was under 2 minutes, Dr. Chartier did not use a lighted magnifying glass and to say it was brief is an understatement. She looked at my back and chest briefly, and with a Familial History of Melanoma, she was hardly thorough. Would not recommend her, especially when the Bill will be in the Hundreds.

Would absolutely not recommend this doctor.
Dr, Chartier came in to see my 97 year old mother who suffers from dementia. She bustled into the office talking the whole time, barely took time to introduce herself, and immediately began examining my mother. When I tried to explain my areas of concern she kept interrupting me telling me she would get there and twice actually held up her hand to signal that I should stop talking. She was determined to only address my Mom which normally I would respect but, again, my mother has dementia and is not able to answer questions on her own. My mother has been going to this practice for several years and was treated there for melanoma. Her prior doctor retired. It didn't appear that Dr. Chartier took the time to consult my mother's file thoroughly. This was literally the most disturbing visit with a doctor I have ever had. Dr. Chartier was controlling, rude, and condescending. After the appointment my mother said that she felt like the doctor was talking to her like 'she's an idiot'.

Dr. Chartier is a blue chip dermatologist.
Dr. Chartier is very prompt and knowledgeable. She explains everything. I am going to have my wife contact her for an appointment. You can't go wrong with this provider.

I would give zero stars if I could. I went to her for years under the impression she was a good doctor. Then I found out from another doctor that she put me at high risk due to her wrecklessness. She prescribed me medications after being told I was having an upcoming procedure and just had one then proceeded to blame my surgeon and me even though she had the procedure in her notes. She put myself in danger. She never ordered labs that were vital for a medication I was on and also never informed me of any of the restrictions this medication would come with. I found out from another doctor in the office

Dr. Chartier is the absolute best! She is incredibly thorough and found skin cancer when I did not suspect it. She is wonderfully compassionate and I highly recommend her!! I'm so happy to have found her.

Dr Chartier is a thorough and conscientious physician. She examines me carefully with an eye to my family history of melanoma. She listens carefully and engages in discussion about treatment alternatives. Her melanoma surgery on me years ago has stood the test of time.

Nice individual however she does not keep the patient in mind regarding what the potential cost will be to that patient. Decided to send 2 clearly benign skin tags She removed to path which ends up costing me another $400. Ridiculous! Will never go back.!!

Dr. Chariter had very little patience and should not be seeing children. We had a useless appointment during which she showed visible frustration (sighing loudly, etc.) and exasperation over spending only a few minutes trying to get a young child to cooperate with a procedure. She clearly lacks experience and knowledge of young children. We are extremely disappointed with the care we received.

Dr Chartier was very warm and professional when I visited her in Portsmouth. She removed a potentially cancerous growth from my hand. She explained the procedure beforehand and I had no pain after she anesthetized the area. She carefully explained what I needed to do to care for the site after the biopsy, and was thorough in every way. I would highly recommend her to any family member or friend. She’s wonderful!

I have always had an exceptional experience with Dr. Chartier and NEDA. She is prompt, thorough, professional and still kind and patient with my questions / concerns. I have recommended her to family and friends. In fact, although she's moved from the York office, I am going to follow her to her new office.

She poorly treated (froze) one of the two basil cell carcinoma spots and sprayed (semi-froze) the second spot located 3/8" too lightly. Ten months later, I asked for a new appointment to rid the aching spot left behind and was given a date to show. Sadly, I was then told I was scheduled (held?) the day prior to my visit. I believe any "no show" charge the office may or may not collect would be unfair to me and the insurance company.
