Very caring
I found Dr. Rahnema to be caring, knowledgeable and willing to spend time during my appointment to educate me and give me multiple treatment options.

Can't Get Authorization
I have been trying to get my medication since July. The last time I was in the office, I did not get to see Dr. Rahnema. The person I did see noticed that my numbers were very high, which would be noticeable would be no medication. Since that visit, I still need medication; my pharmacy and insurance stated that it requires prior authorization, and whoever does the paperwork continues to send prescriptions to the pharmacy. Zelena was an angel of mercy and had a month's supply that someone returned. I never had this many problems in the past. Is Dr. Rahnema still at her practice? How can some not understand the difference between a prescription and an authorization? Especially when the pharmacy has sent the paperwork four times and the insurance company has sent the paperwork twice.

A great doctor
Dr Rahnema is the third endocrinologist I saw when i moved to Las Vegas 8 years ago. A great choice! She is thorough and very knowledgeable. i really like the fact that she is respectfully direct and answers questions thoroughly. I was never made to feel that being diabetic was my fault and nothing could be done. Her staff is supportive and generally responsive when i need to talk to them. As her practice has grown, some back office procedures need to be tightened up, but i am confident that is being done.

WAS a good office
No longer responding to refill requests, changes appointments without notice and then charges cancellation fee. STAY AWAY. GOOD MD. BAD OFFICE.

I have been a patient of Dr. Molouk Rahnema for several years now; thus, have found her front office staff to be inconsiderate and rude at best. After, calling for two days in a row now to clarify a wrongful billing on a visit I already paid. Isabella, who answered the phone and didn't even give me a chance to tell her the reason for my call before hitting the hold button; then 17 minutes later when she picks up again and after explaining the reason for my call she transfers me to billing; where I had to leave a voice message since nobody answered. Unfortunately, nobody cared to return my call so when I reached-out again today the story repeated itself where I was put on hold three times and when I made a point of the lack of courtesy not allowing me to explain the reason for my call before being put on hold multiple times; this staff member decides that arguing with a patient is better business than doing her job while efficiently helping to resolve a problem. For this and the lack of bedside manners from this doctor, I have decided to take my health concerns to a professional who values and supports their patients. Honestly, practices like this should not have a place in the medical world; it is clear that they do not understand that their practice exists because of patients who honor and entrust them but I am sure that will not be my case. If you are looking for good care and an office who will take your health interest seriously, then stay away from Valley Endocrinology and Dr. Molouk Rahnema...

Cold
She was more worried about telling me I’m overweight, needing to cut my calories in half and doing more cardio then my walking 4 days a week along with weights. I went there for my thyroid nodules. She is a very cold person. She told me to come back in 2 years. Needless to say I won’t be going back to her at all.

What Visit? Discharged from the ER with instructions to follow up Dr. Rahnema Molouk in 1-2 days. I know offices are busy, however they wouldn't schedule without a phone call from the Emergency Room Dr. the written referral from the Emergency Room Dr. wasn't good enough. I have severe acidosis and needed help. I wouldn't recommend this practice to anyone who needs medical care. It just not important to them or their schedule.

This doctor is extremely unprofessional in her approach with patients. She is aggressive and argumentative, and gaslights you into feeling like you’re absolutely crazy when she says there’s nothing wrong with you during your first 10 minutes in the exam room. I was referred to an endocrinologist for ongoing issues that several other providers see as needing more in depth medical attention. She told me she sees people like me all the time and there’s nothing wrong with them either. I was judged for my past lifestyle and made to feel like a chastised child in her office. She wore the same pair of gloves from one room to the next, typed on the computer with them and then touched my face with the same gloves on during a pandemic. Her staff didn’t enforce masks in the waiting room while mask mandates are still in effect, and she didn’t change her gloves between patients. I’m completely mortified by my experience here.

Dr. Rahnema is a first-class and knowledgeable physician. Her professional skills keep me healthy. I am happy and gratified to be under her care. The office staff also is brilliant. People who say otherwise in these reviews clearly ought to be consuling psychiatrists.

Rude, not knowledgeable, gave wrong recommendations to my sister to take her tiroid out because she was not able to control it. My sister went to UCLA and they said it is not necessary to take her tiroid out and they said what kind of doctor told you to have surgery. Now my sister is ok and her tiroid is under control with another doctor and she never did that surgery. Stay away from her.

When My son turned 18, we needed a new Adult Endocrinologist. We called the office of Dr. Rahnema and talked to a rude receptionist. She was short with her words, assumed we were on Medicaid and showed a lack of communication skills. Another words she was just rude and did not care. She did not offer any information to help and actually seemed happy that we were not able to make an appointment or see this doctor. She is a gatekeeper that is turning away patients. And I have great Insurance. Their loss of course because there are many others we can see. I recommend you keep looking and find a nice office for your Endocrinologist.

My experience with Dr. Rahnema was going fairly well, until I had an issue with my insulin pump. At that point, her office sent me a certified letter that she was discontinuing service to me. Is it possible for a doctor to fire a patient?? Not to my knowledge, but who I am to say. I am pretty sure it happened because the rep from my insulin pump works in her office. What a bunch of garbage, but whatever. Ce lest vie!

I have been under Dr. Rahnema's care for my Type II diabetes. She has methodically and compassionately treated me. When I first went to her, my overall health was in need of improvement. Due to her diligence and knowledge my cholesterol is now in a healthy range, I have been able to increase my Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D to an optimal level, and my blood glucose level is under control. I have found her entire staff to be both polite and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Rahnema.

I wish I could give 0 stars! This is the worst doctor I have ever seen in my life. Having a thyroid issue with side effects as low libido is an emotional thing to talk about. I expressed it and after several times of telling me I was fine, she told me to re-evaluate my marriage! She says " maybe you're not attracted to your husband." Instantly I was furious and then sobbing. This is not a doctor you want to go see, it's medical malpractice and she should lose her license.

This doctor is super nasty and rude. She YELLED at me that nothing is wrong when my labs are 10x the normal level. She prescribes thyroid medicine based on your height/weight not your lab levels and she refused to order tests to prove herself right that my labs are not the problem. DON'T BOTHER GOING!
