Lucky to have Dr. Avila as my oncologist!
No one wants to hear they have cancer once, let alone twice. 14 years after hearing it the first time, I met with Dr. Avila and had to hear it again. This time only at a worse stage. Dr. Avila held my hand as I cried and told me that I was going to beat this, and she was going to be there right beside me. I had chemo treatments along with a huge Surgery. Dr. Avila assured me she took every last bit of cancer out! Six months later and I am cancer free! I couldn't have asked for a more experienced and compassionate doctor. She saved my life which I am forever grateful for!

I owe my future to this woman and her heart of gold. She heard me and she cared. She did everything to save my ability to try to have another child. I have tears streaming down my cheeks in gratitude.
