Dr. Monica Lorenzo, MD

I always feel well taken care of when I come for my annual eye exam. I have been seeing her for many years. Dr. Monica Lorenzo is thorough and highly competent. She also did my cataract surgery several years ago and it was very successful. Highly recommend her. Staff is also excellent.

The eye exam itself was fairly routine. The wait time to see the doctor was longer than I would have liked with the appointment starting approximately 40 minutes after its scheduled time. Monica Lorenzo prescribed me a medication for my eyes and provided me with a small sample of the prescription medicine, which I took the following day. I suffered from an adverse reaction to the drug and called the office and left a voicemail. 24 hours later, no one had returned my call. I called and emailed the office for a few more days before finally getting an assistant who told me she would convey the message to Monica Lorenzo and stated Monica Lorenzo would get back to me promptly. Although, I continued to follow up to ask if the adverse reaction required another exam, whether another substitute drug would be possible, and whether I was in any danger from the adverse reaction, Monica Lorenzo never returned my calls or emails. After three weeks, nothing.

Dr. Lorenzo is an excellent caring doctor. She's a good listener and explains everything in a clear and concise way. I have been with Dr. Lorenzo for over 2 decades and a 1/2. And can't see myself seeing anyone else. I highly recommend her and her partner and husband Dr. Latkany to my friends and family.

Dr Lorenzo has been our families Ophthalmologist for several years. She and her husband deserve all the previous positive reviews and accolades. They are consummate professionals. More important they truly care about their patients and their quality of care reflects this.
