My experience here was smooth : yes they do things by phone because their protocol is just that . However , if you want to speak to the Doctor , just ask . I did several times . He politely told me what I had been diagnosed and what meds to take . I had horrible ulcers he gave me enough meds to last me a lifetime to take care of my issue. I will go see him again . Which is going to be soon beibg he works with Referralls that’s another reason why he is super busy . There are not very many doctors in the area unfortunately . He’s not that bad as the reviews say . The NP are sweet . The problem is you get passed to a few extensions before you get to who you really need but if you are patient it all works out :

After 2 consultations and 1 polyp procedure still
I was referred to him by my primary care physician. After two consultations and one polyp removal procedure with a 3rd party Dr at the hospital (when I was sedated), I still haven’t met Dr. Suchov. Despite my request to do the follow-up with a Dr., I was redirected to his Doctorate in nursing, who was being called a Dr. the entire time.I respect Nurses with a Doctorate however I would rather talk to the Physician at least once during my appointments.

I hope the doctor knows!
Thank goodness it didn’t go that far. I canceled before the appointment because of the structure of pre appointment procedure. Apparently, this doctor really see any patients and everything goes via the phone, but they don’t tell you that at the time you make one. Terrible! Don’t recommend!!

Horrible! Will complain to insurance
Telehealth
You never see, talk to him. Everything is done by phone. Supposedly your talking with an 'NP' who doesn't listen, is hard to understand and makes mistakes if and when you do communicate.

WORST CUMTOMER SERVICE EVER!!
The DR , via telemedicine had me do a CSCAN with liver procols. I did that and it was titled STAT meaning urgent. That was over 6 weeks ago and for the past 4 weeks I have called every day. I have waited on hold 40 min or more numerous times I have been told to leave a message on a voice that is always full. I am also told by the recording that if I have concerns to please call back and hit #7. I did this very politely the first few times ( it was also full many times). This time, I was very upset and now I'm complaing. The service is outrageously bad. I just want the results of the test I took. more than a month later I still have not received even a call. Because he is affiliated with a high ranking hospital, I will complain to them as well.Just don't go here. My oncologist sent me here and now I'm going to complain to him.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. My husband was patient there, under care of Dr Ronquillo. They never saw him in office once (1.5 years), I had to ask for specific tests when they “couldn’t find” issue, which led to Crohn’s diagnosis. When they gave him meds and they didn’t work, with him still being nauseated and vomiting, she told me to tell his Primary MD because it wasn’t GI related. When we said the meds weren’t helping, she said “well they should be working because that’s what will help.” Now that we’re finally switching to a new GI doctor, they would not refill his meds that would run out prior to his 1st appt, and I’ve been on the phone multiple times to have them send his medical records over and they keep saying they are, but they haven’t! On top of that, it’s SO difficult to get a hold of anyone in the office. I’m SO glad we’ll finally be done with this office, they have not been helpful to my husband, or his symptoms whatsoever. I definitely do NOT recommend this office to ANYONE… not if you’re needing actual help from the doctors.

Have to wait 6 WEEKS for biopsy results
I haven't had issues with the doctor's or NP's in this office as far as appointments but I do have an issue with having to wait 6 weeks for biopsy results when the problem that I had checked is still present. I have called their office 3 times and was informed today that I have an appointment that they never told me about. They better pray that nothing serious is wrong because I will take this further if there is. They told me I would have the results in 2-3 weeks. 6 weeks is completely unacceptable.

Absolutely terrible!
Telehealth
Waited for my appointment for 2 months just to find out it’s going to be just a phone call, and not even with the doctor but a NP. Confirmed my phone appointment several days prior. On the day and time of my appointment no one called. After waiting for 40 minutes, I called the office and asked why the nurse didn’t call. The receptionist said she didn’t know why, and offered to take down my name for a message. The NP finally called 3 hrs later and said she was “a little late”, and the reason she didn’t call during the appointment time was because my info said “intestinal issues” and she had to call the office first to find out what kind of issues. Hm… what?!?? The whole point of the appointment was to find out what’s the issue. Truly, the worst customer service! Switching doctor immediately.

In two visits I never met him!
It was very hard to get appointments, never saw Dr. Suchov, had phone appointments with nurse instead, prescribed lots of tests ("they are all free"), prescribed lots of medications, and one test result was read wrong. Obviously I cannot recommend. I assume something happened in the past 6-12 months that has caused his reviews to plummet. I found Dr. Krishnan to be wonderful for the colonoscopy and endoscopy and recommend him highly.

Appointment and staff
I received an urgent referral to see Dr. Suchov today. I called the office and spoke with Jesse whim informed me I would get a call in 2 days to schedule an appointment. I let him know I have been sick for 18DAYS and my doctor got the referral so I could see him immediately. He told me to call my doctor to confirm that my referral was marked urgent and if it was to call him back and I would be able to speak with a scheduler to get an appointment. I called him back after confirming my referral was urgent and he told me they were in break and would call me back, 2 hours later I tried callling again and he said ok let me out you through and I was sent to a voicemail. Frustrated I left a message but to my surprise no one called me back and now I have to wait till Monday because the office is closed on the weekend. Absolutely unprofessional

Truly awful experience
Terrible place. What kind of GI doctor refuses to see patients in person? No real exam takes place, just phone appointments and tests ordered. Never even get to actually take to the doctor, just the physician's assistant who doesn't listen to anything I say. The staff is rude and incompetent. Plus, I recently found out that one of the tests he ordered often has false negatives when you're on one of the meds I happen to be taking, which he knows since he prescribed it! This was never mentioned. And now, for two weeks, the officephone has been down, and my calls are sent to a messenger service that takes forever to respond, and then I never get called back. I've been suffering with extreme nausea for over a year now, and they've been no help whatsoever.

Excellent bedside manners, thorough in answering all my questions during the pre-op visit and also before and after my procedures. I had my upper and lower GI endoscopies (EGD and colonoscopy)performed by Dr. Suchov, after I was recommended to him by a family member. He took time to explain all the findings and was very patient and polite. His office help me find the best facility to meet my needs, and made all necessary appointments in a timely manner. They navigated me through some insurance issues and solved the problems efficiently. Thank you to the whole team for a good experience!
