Excellent psychiatrist
I've been seeing Dr. Feibelman for medication management for many years. I always appreciate his point of view because I don't always have the best insight into my own condition. He's usually right. He has always respected when I tried a medication and it just was absolutely wrong. I've seen doctors in the past who just ignore what you're saying and tell you to stay on the particular medication they want you to take and figure you'll get used to it.
What went well
  • I felt respected
  • Listened & answered questions

Horrible
My longtime psychiatrist left his practice and passed me to Dr. Feibelman. My 1st appt was booked as telemed. I wanted to meet in person at least at first. This dude ignored several emails & voicemails requesting an in-person appt. On the day of the telemed he didn't send me a link until 30 min after my appt. Then after waiting in the virtual waiting room for another 30 min he hung up on me. He sent a text saying he would get back to me that afternoon with a new appt. It is almost TWO MONTHS LATER. Despite many texts, voicemails and emails this guy hasn't had the courtesy to get back to me.

I am puzzled by this number of positive reviews. Dr. Feibelman kept me on medication that had been harming me rather than helping me for over a year while I felt too depressed, apathetic, and disoriented to stop that. To be fair, he did finally prescribe me a medication that worked for me. The only downside? That happened when I announced that I will have to look for another specialist. Normally, he does not really care about helping the patient in a lot of psychological pain.
What went well
  • Office environment
  • Staff friendliness
  • Wait times
What could be improved
  • Didn't listen or answer questions
  • Didn't explain conditions well
  • Appointment was rushed
  • Didn't trust the provider's decisions

Dr. Feibelman redefined how I felt about doctors and what I knew a true “therapeutic alliance” was. At the time that i saw him i was struggling with what i thought were decency issues on some of my medications. He brilliantly explored this issue with me. I can longer see him; i tried to make an appointment and was turned away. I don’t know why. But if you are given the opportunity- become a patient of his. I’ll will never find a doctor like Morgan Feibelman again. A truly remarkable caregiver.
