Dr. Morteza Farr, DO

I have never had such a bad experience in my life dealing with this Doctor and his RUDE nurse. I waited for a hour and a half on my first visit. Never seen him on my Pre-Op visit only his RUDE nurse named SUSY. Next was my Surgery day and I was told that I had to be there at 1 pm first then it changed to 11 am because of the doctors request. I was there at 11 but I never seen the doctor untill 2:30. After the surgery I have been in so much pain for over a week and didn't have anymore medication, so I called SUSY to explane the problems I was having and asked to get something for this pain. She told me that there is nothing that SHE was going to do for me and I should call someone else but she wasn't that one. When I told her that what she was saying to me was ludicrous she told me that's to bad and if it gets so bad that I can't deal with take myself to the Emergency Room because she wasn't going to help me at all ! NEVER in my lifetime has anyone been so RUDE !!

Dr Farr is an amazing surgeon, he is kind and considerate of all my medical needs. He takes time to explain thoroughly any questions i have.

Staff is rude on phone & in person. Dr doesn't listen or explain anything. After seeing a Dr in Sacramento (who recommended an SCS implant) I had to move to Hollister. I was told Dr Farr was the only Dr that did that in my area. When I saw Dr Farr he said 'you don't need that, why put a band-aid on something we can fix!?' So he talked me out of what I wanted. After having his recommended back surgery to FIX my problem(pain) I had my follow up appt. The nurse removed stitches, I told Dr that it didn't work and I'm in more pain then before. Dr Farr didn't even look at his horrible stitch job or me at all. Just said,'it's not from anything I did, there must be something wrong with you!' Asked him if I should get an EMG test?He says, 'is that what you want?' He wrote an order for it and walked out. Till this day (over a yr later) no one from his office has even followed up with me. I guess he made enough $ to pay a bill so I didn't matter anymore. Rude, worst bedside manner, non caring!

I am an interpreter and helped a 91 years old Chinese patient to see this doctor. His office was full of patients and the receptionist did not accept the medication list which is 5 pages long. She just wanted me to write them all down. After a long waiting, the doctor spent 5 minutes with the patient and wrote down an X-ray order and that is it.

Dr. Morteza Farr is the very best spine and orthopedic surgeon.

HE HAS DONE 3 SURGERYS ON ME WITHIN 1Q YEAR AND I HIGHLY RECOMEND HIM.

Avoid Dr. Farr! I was lied to, tricked into surgery I made clear I did not want, then he treated me like I was his servant. Some should tell him that he is not in Iran anymore!

I saw Dr. Farr twice in his Manteca office. He ended up referring me to a different specialist since there were limited options that he could offer for my condition. However, I was very impressed by his personable and caring manner. He was the kindest, most compassionate doctor I have ever interacted with. In my experience, these qualities are the exception rather than the rule among doctors. I really appreciated his sincerity and warmth.
