Dr. Moses Jones, MD

I actually worked for Dr Moses Jones in Tuscaloosa AL. He is a great neurosurgeon and highly respected for his extraordinary knowledge and skill. I was amazed by his skills as a neurosurgeon. Bedside manner might be different. But if i needed a neurosurgeon he is at the top of my list!He also performed a Carpal Tunnel release on me with excellent results.

I tried to research him before I saw him and found nothing. That is why I am leaving a review. Hopefully to help others. I felt he was not very thorough. He never even knew i had more current reports, and I had to give him the copy to read. He contradicted himself; told me nothing is wrong but then advised me to not get my neck worked on at a chiro because of my condition increasing more risk(as he pointed to report) also said cld refer me to a neurologist yet they wld just give me aspirin for my narrowing veins. I asked about chiari malformation, he told me it is nothing, many people have it. The worst was when we started to leave and he said ‘i mean i could put u under a knife if u really want, its more money in my pocket!’ Why would a doctor say that to a patient who is not feeling well and just wants help? I didnt ask to see him or get tested for my symptoms, it was ordered because of my reports and symptoms. I personally do not recommend this doctor! I left feeling way worse!
