Cervical surgery: used Endotracheal Intubation. Felt pain immediately out of surgery. That very night my neck was full of blood from a lack of a sutcher and the covering was not like previous surgery. No wrapping of the neck. Just small gauze and a small clear covering. The covering given after surgery was leaking 9 hours later. Pulling the front of neck where the incision is. Ever since then I have been ghosted by this surgeon. Trying to get in to see him in person but they will not give me appt. without doctor approval. I have the same conditions as prior to surgery plus other conditions from this failed surgery. My front of neck and my face is now numb. I have pins and needles on my face and upper chest area as well as both shoulders & arms. The back of my head is on fire with pain traveling up the back of my head and down to my thoracic spine. I never had a physician ghost me when I needed them. 2nd cervical surgery and this surgery is a failure. I have more negative conditions than was previously there prior to surgery. Day of surgery seemed they wanted to get out of the office cause I was last patient and they were behind time. Do not recommend. I wish I never went to this surgeon. Frustrated that I can not get in to be seen by him. Instead he sends you to P.A’s. Never met surgeon only P.A’s. Notified my Rep. that this doctor will not authorize an appt. face to face with Dr. Wilker. My Primary doctor wanted me not only to see him but my pain mgmt doctor. Had no issues getting in to be seen by my pain mgmt doctor but can not seem to get in to see the surgeon. Terrible after care. I do not believe the Intubation was necessary. My last surgeon did not do this and I stayed over night in the hospital. Not at all satisfied with my care.

Very good! His staff should do their own calls and inquiries with other professionals and not rely on clients to do their footwork! I was asked to call around to Dr.s for faxing and inquiries! Not the patients job! I’m dealing with my own pain!

Waited over an hour, rushed, charged me cash up front and then spent about 30 seconds. has an in house pharmacy which is basically a cash-kickback operation that benefits the doctor. very unprofessional and horrible bedside manner. AVOID
