Dismissive
Very dismissive of my questions. Funny thing I noticed: the reviews I saw on Google that were negative were mostly women, and the positive were from men. As a woman, I’m not surprised.

Doesn’t listen to patient
This doctor was very dismissive and did not actually listen to me and my symptoms. He simply wrote it off as acid reflux. I don’t think he is skilled at diagnostics or actually helping patients.

Dismissive
Telehealth
I had a video visit scheduled for me with Dr. Ibrahim after my last gastroenterologist left my network. The visit was primarily to get medication renewed, but instead this doctor tried to get me to try other solutions (without asking about my medical history and why I was on this medication to begin with). He suggested I wean off the medication and wouldn’t listen to the issues I have had after skipping or even taking the meds late. He kept suggesting another option and wouldn’t listen to me about why that option wouldn’t work for me and did not seem empathetic to my situation. He accused me of not knowing how my current meds work, even though I’ve been on them for two years. This visit felt more like a power struggle. This doctor was more interested in being in charge than helping me maintain a treatment plan that is working for my body.

My husband was diagnosed with Barrett’s esophagus which is a very severe GERD. He is a young male (40’s) never overweight, but with family history of cancer (especially gastrointestinal cancer). He was a strong person that works out, eats well, does not drink, and does not smoke. Now he can’t eat well (everything bothers him) and keep loosing weight… in addition to fatigue and pain, this are very scary times for our family because we can tell SOMETHING IS REALLY WRONG. My husband just had an appointment with Dr. Ibrahim and he was rude and dismissive. We have a lot of questions about his symptoms and he would act arrogant and did not explain the results of the studies he undergo. In addition, there was no a “change of action” or an explanation of possible reasons why my husband’s liver or gallbladder does not look right on the ultrasound. I do not recommend this doctor at all. He has no human touch and very argumentative when you have questions.

Goes through the motions. Virtually no follow up or meaningful written analysis. Tries to "smooth" talk you throughout the discussions. Just terrible.
